"Can you hand me the tomatoes, Calum?"
I do as I'm being told, picking up the package with baby tomatoes, handing then to Chloe, who's placed on the other side of the kitchen island, cooking some kind of food.
Luke arrives back from the toilet, pressing a quick kiss on Chloe's cheek before bumping down on the chair next to me once again.
Riley's currently in the living room with Michael, watching Disney channel or some other kids show that's only able to catch Michael's attention.
"So, continue" Chloe nods, allowing me to continue my story that was earlier interrupted by Luke rushing to the toilet.
"Yeah, uh, okay" I scratch the back of my neck, not really sure where to pick it up again. "So she pretended to be my girlfriend, scared that Holly chick away and then we just had like small chats during the day"
"Is she cute?" Chloe starts cutting the tomatoes into small slices, looking up at me.
"I guess" I shrug, uncomfortable talking about Paige like she's some high school crush I just finally had the courage to talk to, even though we've known eachother since like first grade. I've actually only known her a week. "But that was Monday"
"Yeah? So what happened the other days?"
"We haven't worked that much together, but we had a coffee and a little talk while walking to the parking lot the other night"
"She seems nice" Luke looks from me to Chloe, and then back to me again. "Quite cool, yeah" I reach for my glass of water, taking a small sip while Luke and his girlfriend exchange another look. I'm just about to ask about it, but I get interrupted.
"DADDY!"
I look to the side, watching how Riley runs into the kitchen with Michael flowing her.
"Hi, Riley" I smile towards her, bending down to lift her up the moment she bumps into my leg. I place her on my lap. "Are you having fun with Michael and Ash?"
"Daddy, what is a blowjob?" She asks, grabbing my t-shirt, playing with it. "And why did uncle Michael say you haven't got any in foreeeeever?"
I stare at her for a while. I can hear Ashton's loud laughter from the living room, and when u look to the side I notice how both Luke and his girlfriend tries to hold back their laughters.
I turn my eyes to Michael. "You told my three-year-old what?"
"It was a joke, man" he scratch the back of his neck, embarrassed over the fact that I found out.
"Michael, she's three! You can't tell her stuff like that"
"She doesn't understand anyway"
"That's not the point" I close my eyes in frustration, slowly breathing in and out. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10... "You have already slipped things about strippers and 'how to make a baby'"
"Daddy" Riley interrupts me, poking my chest. I look down at her. "What is it?"
"Nothing, don't worry" I say. But if you ever do it I will kick the shit out of you.
"I'm sorry, okay?" A smile plays on Michael's lips as well, he's also trying to hide back his laugh. "But it's Ashton's fault as well. He got us into the subject"
I sigh. "I need new friends"

Riley's half asleep in Ashton's lap, curled up against his chest with his arms around her. It's quite a cute scene, actually.
Chloe is placed in her boyfriends lap, happily chatting with jasmine, who's currently seated next to Michael with his arm draped around her. They're rambling on about their jobs at this big ass magazine.
Funny story actually; we all knew jasmine from school, Michael and her have been a thing since they were 17. Anyways, she got this work as writer at this magazine while at college, and met Chloe. She introduced us to Chloe, since she just had moved here from New York. Everyone got along with her pretty well, but Chloe and Luke clicked right away. It was quite adorable, actually. They couldn't keep their eyes of eachother, and now, two years later they're here.
I glance over at the couple. Luke's arms wrapped around her belly and his chin resting on her shoulder. He looks up at her every now and then, and it's so obvious from the way his eyes shines that he adores that girl more than anything else in the world.
Kind of the same way I used to look and feel about Anna.
"She's so heavy" Ashton whines, turnings everyone's eyes to him.
"She's three" Michael rolls his eyes. "She's just as heavy as like a dog.."
"I can take her, if you want" I say, already pushing away the pillow from my lap.
"She's not that heavy"
"C'mon, she can drool on my t-shirt instead"
That cause Ashton to look down, and he finally notice the small, wet spot on his chest. I chuckle, standing up and leaning towards my friend so I can grab Riley.
I sit down again, scooping her a bit closer in my arms. A little small snore escape from her, causing me to glance down at her sleeping face.
"So what are you planning to do for her birthday, cal?"
I look up at Chloe, who was the one asking the question. "Huh?"
"Her birthday" she repeats herself. "It's December, and she turns four in February"
"Oh, I don't know yet" I admit. "I guess we will just do whatever she wants"
To be honest, I haven't had a single thought about what to do. She was born like yesterday, for gods sake, my little baby can not be four already?
