"And then daddy said that Hello Kitty won't come for Christmas" Riley explains something to Ashton, playing with the collar of his shirt as we make our way forward.

The guys came home yesterday, and Ashton called me today and explained that today is just a 'perfect day for picking up girls'. He also said I needed to bring Riley with me, since she's a, and I quote, 'total babe magnet'.

"Well, I don't think Hello Kitty works with Santa, Riley" Ashton glance down at the girl in his arms. "She came to your birthday party, remember? And that wasn't on Christmas"

"Of course she works with Santa" Riley sighs. "Everyone who's nice lives with Santa"

"But I'm nice, aren't I?" Ashton questions her theory with a smile. "And I don't live with Santa"

"You don't?" Riley's jaw drops as she looks up at Ashton.

"Riley" I sigh, looking over at them. "Honey, you've been at Ashton's house multiply times"

"How do you know that Santa doesn't live in his basement?" Riley looks away, crossing her arms. This morning, we had this fight. Riley didn't eat her breakfast, but craved a cookie. When I wouldn't give her one, she started screaming, and she did until Ashton appeared in our apartment. When he arrived, she wiped away the tears, escaped my lap and grabbed Ashton's hand, explaining to me that Ashton would help her decide clothes, not me.

"Whatever" I mutter, not in the mood to argue with a three year old about something that doesn't even exist.

"Look, there's some girls" Ashton squeals, nodding towards two girls that looks around Ashton's age. "Let's pretend she's mine, yeah?"

"First of all, you're not going to pretend that Riley is your daughter" I glare at him. "Don't you think they would figure that out when you start dating?"

"Then I'm her godfather" he says, shrugging with a smile. "C'mon now"

"Why do you have to use my daughter when you try to pick up girls?"

"Ice cream" Riley squeals, pointing towards a little place that sells ice cream. "Daddy, I want ice cream"

"Riley, not no-"

"I'll buy you" Ashton interrupts me, focusing on Riley. "I will buy you whatever flavour you want if you're being a good girl when me and your dad talks to some girls, okay?"

"Okay" Riley nods, and she seems quite satisfied with the deal.

"I don't know if I'm comfortable with you using my daughter like this" I mumble, following behind Ashton.

"I'm buying her ice cream afterwards, calm down, man"

"Ice cream" Riley nods, putting her head on Ashton's shoulder with a giggle.

"Oh my god, Calum they're looking" Ashton giggles as well, holding Riley closer as the two girls glance towards us. "How do I look?"

"Like usual" I mutter. "How are you even planning on talking to them?"

"Just watch and learn, Hood" he flash me a big smile, adjusting Riley on his hip before starting to walk towards the two girls.

With a deep sigh, I follow him. I can see how one of the girls eyes Ashton's body, playing with a piece of hair before she leans towards her friend to whisper something.

"Hi, excuse me" Ashton says, showing of his deep dimples. "Do you guys know where we can find like a store or whatever with a toilet?"

He asks for the toilet.. Wow, Ashton, great pick-up line..
