Ashton left an hour after lunch, extremely bored. I would have come with him to the club he was going to, but I'm working days this week, so I can't exactly have a hungover tomorrow morning.
So now I'm stuck at Michael and Jasmine's place. And I must say it sucks.
Their puppy is resting on my lap, sleeping while I stare at the tv, an almost empty beer in my hand.
Jasmine is in the kitchen for now, and her boyfriend is spread all over one of their couches. I'm in the other one, the little one, facing the tv with a bored expression.
Luke and Chloe are in the last sofa - and yes, Michael and Jasmine bought themselves three ones -, making out. Aha, yes, making out. They're still all giggly, and acting all like a... Couple.
I look down at the little puppy in my lap, scratching behind his ear before looking up towards the tv again. I really wish me and Riley actually could afford having a puppy. Because it would make her unbelievable happy, and I would be quite satisfied as well. I love dogs, I've always wanted one. But a three year old and a puppy? That would never work.
Jasmine walks in, putting down a bowl with popcorn on the table before sitting down by Michael. He smiles sleepily, wrapping his arms around her before dragging him towards his chest.
I groan. "Guys, can't we do something fun instead? Please?"
Jasmine chuckles, quickly kissing Michael's nose. "Like what, Cal?"
"I don't know, something fun"
"But you're a dad, Cal." Michael sighs. "Your definition of fun is playing with barbies"
Jasmine slaps the back of his head. "Dude, stop being such a dick!"
"But he's all pouty and grumpy" Michael glance at me. "I'm sorry man, but you're just not that fun"
I glare at Michael. "Geez, Michael. You're so nice." I turn my eyes to Jasmine. "I can totally see why you said yes to marry that"
Luke chuckles from his spot, moving around until he's a bit more comfortable.
Michael snorts. "And you two are so supposed to be my best friends.."
"Be nice, Michael" jasmine rolls her eyes, but grabs his hand. "It's his first time really being away from Riley. Of course he's gonna miss her. He's a full time dad."
"Exactly!" I say, crossing my arms at the thought of my daughter.
"If anything, you should watch and learn how to be a good father, like Calum is" Jasmine nods at her words, satisfied with her choice of such a mature sentence.
"Huh?" Chloe looks at Jasmine. "What do you mean with that?"
Jasmine's cheeks turns slightly pink. "With what?"
"With Michael having to learn how to be a 'good father'?" Luke fills her in, and soon all three of us are staring at the couple.
"Uh, nothing?" Jasmine looks away, her face burning red by now. Suddenly, the material of the pillow in her lap seems to be way more interesting than the conversation we're trying to have.
"I accidentally hit her in the head with the wii-remote yesterday." Michael says. "We were playing just dance, and I kind of hit her head and now she's just rambling about stuff that doesn't even make sense.."
"Oh my god." Chloe looks at Jasmine, her eyes growing big as she sits up. "Jasmine, you're pregnant!"
Jasmine and Michael snaps their heads towards Chloe, both of them looking rather guilty. "I am not!"
