"Sorry, what did you say your name was, love?" I ask, looking up at the girl. She must be around 18 or something. Blond hair, blue eyes. quite attractive.

"Holly" She smiles towards me, clearly intrested.

"Well, do you want something more, Holly?" I ask, leaning on one elbow, looking at her. I'm playing with her, I know, but that's what happens when I've done the same thing for three hours now. It often happens that I start flirting with customers after a long day, I can't help it.

"Well, what do you have?" she asks.

"Everything on the menu" I lean back again.

"How about your number, huh?" she asks, softly biting on her bottom lip. I only smile, writing on the note before I push it to the side.

"Check your mug" I say, before greeting a new customer, this one an older women, probably in her late 40's.

I did wrote a number on the girls mug, but not my own. No, I wrote Ashton's. That's what I do with everyone who wants my number, I give them Ashton's instead. The poor dude is desperate, I'm just helping him a bit.

I'm honestly so bored, and I can't wait to just go home and throw myself on the bed. I need to pick up Riley first though. Michael and Jasmine have had her almost all nights this week. They've begged everyday to have her, even though Ashton had promised me to take her as well. He let Jas and Michael take her though. No one really understands why they're so desperate in taking care of her, but I don't mind, Riley loves being at their place.

"Calum" I smile towards the customer before turning my eyes towards Ron. "Change with Bryan, I need to talk to you"

Bryan luckily hears him, takes the last cups from the empty table before walking towards me. He smiles at me as we change, but I'm too nervous to be able to return his gesture. This is it. I'm getting fired, will probably not be able to feed Riley or pay our apartment and we will end up on the street or in my parents basement and Riley will grow up being teased through her teenage years because she's living in her grandparent's basement along with her loser to a dad who's still looking for a job...

My thoughts are being interrupted the minute I walk inside the staff room. I'm meeting the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. I sound so cheesy, but wow...

"Calum, this is Paige" Ron says, placing his hand on the green eyed girl. I've always thought my type of girls would have blue eyes, but her green ones are just amazing.

"Eh, hi?" I hesitantly say, not sure what she's doing here. Or what I'm doing here, for that matter.

"She's starting here next week" Ron says, looking between me and the girl who's apparently called Paige.

He doesn't continue, so I just lean myself against the wall, not sure what to do. "And?..."

"And," Ron laughs. "You're going to show her around, teach her how things work around here"

"Me?"

"Yes, you"

I look at the girl. Her hair is light brown, almost blonde, and reach just below her shoulders. She let's out a small smile towards me, only causing me to look at Ron again. "Yeah, sure, whatever"

"Can you be here early on Monday?" He asks, placing himself on a chair.

"Well, it depends" I say, thinking that Ashton might be able to take her. "How early?"

"One?"

"To?"

"About six or seven, I think"

"Yeah, sure" I say, actually thinking it's a good deal, since I get to spend the night with Riley.
