《Revealing the truth》

They went down into the silent garden. Down is the time where nothing breathes, the hour of silence. Everything is transfixed, only the light moves.

The sound of the hushing wind that was peeking through the very tiny holes and the clock that was ticking away every minute was they only sounds that had taken over the place.

The warmth of the freshly made elderflower tea seeped through their skin from the white coffee cups that they were holding on to tight.

Kai was looking down his cup watching the steam evaporate minute by minute.

Susana was long lost in thoughts with swollen eyes as the steam from the tea hit her face.

Kai lifted the cup closer to his lips as he took a small sip making a slurping sound.

The silence remained so loud that they could hear their heart pound beneath their chest.

Kai's mind was overfilled with questions. With questions he wanted and needed the answer for, but he didn't know if his questions were the ones that had an answer too, or the ones that could be answered.

He looked up at Susana who's eyes were fixed at the wall in front of her.She seemed lost in thoughts and kai could barely read her mind.

But her eyes were full of language, he could somewhat understand what they were saying, but he just couldn't seem to get the words through his mind.

Kai always found her eyes beautiful and stunning, but at the moment, aside from the beauty her eyes were very intense. He either wanted to look away, or never look away.

The silence between them was growing deeper and deeper until Kai finally decided to break it.

"Susana?" He asked in a low voice.

She Didnt make a move with her eyes still locked on the wall blinking once in a while.

"Susana? he asked once again, but only louder. she still didn't responded, it seemed like she was thinking about something really deeply.

Kai placed his hand on top of her shoulder to get her attention, but She jolted in surprise and pushed his hand away.

She looked at him with great fear, eyes wide open. Her hands were shaking while Kai was taken a back.

Kai blinked back and changed his gaze to the ground.

"I'm...." Kai was about to apologize when susana cut him off.

"I...I'm" she was stuttering as she continued "S..sorry...i was.."

"It's fine" Kai replied cutting her off " I was just...." he made a short pause " I mean, I called your name, but you didn't respond so I...uh" he sight and shrugged his mind to clear everything off.

" anyways, i forgot to do so, but I'll go get the first Aid to clean your wounds before it gets infected."

He got out of the room without looking back.

When he was out of the room, he paused outside the door and mentally slapped himself for reacting so stupid towards her.

He knew what she had been through in the past couples of hours, so for her to act that way is not something that is unexpected.

"I'm so stupid" he hissed under his breath and walked off to get the box.

When Kai returned back from his room he paused outside the room susana was in.

He saw her hold a necklace in her hand while looking at it with tears in her eyes.
