INAAYOS NA ni Katia ang lahat ng kailangan para sa press conference niya mamaya. Hindi pa rin niya matawagan si Xanthrus hanggang ngayon ngunit nag-iwan ito ng mensahe na marami raw itong ginagawa.

She totally understands and she's glad that he told her about that. They are both in the same industry wherein they are very busy in handling their own businesses.

Bumaba sila sa conference room ng Pineda Architectural Firm para pumunta sa hotel na pagdadausan ng anunsiyo niya. The whole industry should know that she is the CEO of the architectural firm in order to invite more investors.

Mas mahahalina ito na maging kasosyo at magpagawa sa kanila. It is her advantage as a part of Bachelorette Club. Alam ng mga negosyante na kapwa magkakaibigan sila, isang grupo ng makapangyarihan na kakabaihan.

"I arranged your schedule for the next week. There would be a meeting between our foreign investors that would tackle about the new designs and technologies. They would like to buy our camera and battery for their new phone." Saad ng secretarya na hindi magkamayaw sa pagtipa sa telepono nito

"What about the other companies who wanted to sue me for copying their shitty designs?"

"The Arvanitis Law Firm confirmed that the court withdraw the case. The companies were lacking of evidences, Ms. Akiyama."

"Good to know then."

Pagkalipas ng ilang minuto, nakarating din agad sila sa hotel na pagdadausan ng press conference. Pinili ni Katia na sa malapit na hotel nalang sila magdaos dahil saglit lang din naman sila rito.

"Ms. Akiyama, is it true that you bought the Pineda Architectural Firm?"

"How is Mr. Seudama? Are you in a relationship with him?"

"Did Catherine Nicholson already make peace with you?"

"Is it true that Abrianna Nicholson will be a part of Akiyama Technologies?"

The media did not waste their time and bombarded her with questions as soon as she entered the conference room. There are flashes of lights directing to her.

"Please, settle down." Pagpapakalma ni Katia sa media "We will allow one question at a time so please, settle down."

"I am here to formally announce that the Pineda Architectural Firm will be under my name from now on." Tumikhim siya at umupo kasabay mga bulung-bulungan sa silid

"Alam naman nating lahat na isang naluluging kumpanya ang PAF pero bakit mas pinili mo itong bilhin?" Paunang tanong ng isang media

"I am capable of buying some share so why question my reasons? Afterall, it is good to help the companies that needs my aid."

"Miss Akiyama, is it really true that you made peace with your mother? Catherine Soriano?"

"She's my mother and I don't see any reason to hate and be angry with her. Did I satisfy your curiosity?" Aniya habang malamig na nakatingin dito "I was looking forward for her love and care afterall these years and hatred is not included in it."

She hates media but this is the way to fulfill her plans. It would take a lot of effort and publicity for the PAF to be successful in the architecture industry. The media also asked her if she is creating a competition between Akiyama and Semberova which she disapprove.

"Thank you for attending the press conference requested by Xaia Akiyama." Saad ni Katia habang nakatayo sa entablado "Send our regards to your companies. Thank you."

Niligpit ng media ng kani-kanilang kagamitan para lisanin ang lugar. Well, Xaia did not satisfy their curiosity because she was giving safe answers. She does not want the media to know the other details.

"Fuck. It's exhausting." Hinilot niya ang sentido habang palabas sila ni Katia mula sa conference room "I wish that it was the last time talking to those people."

"Do you want me to book for a suite? You could rest first before heading to the company. Tapos naman na ang mahahalagang appointment mo ngayon." Suhestyon ulit nito

"Yeah. Book me a suite. Ikaw? Malapit lang bahay mo rito diba? Umuwi ka muna sa anak mo." Saad niya rito habang papunta sa front desk "I can book my room, Katia. Hindi ako baldado."

"Are you sure? Baka may ipagawa ka pa sakin. My son is just at home. Her auntie is there."

"Sige na. Umuwi ka na. Pupunta ako sa istasyon pagkatapos kong magpahinga. You could take a break. I can manage." Tumango naman ito at agad na sinunod ang gusto niya

Akmang magtatanong na siya sa frontdesk nang makita niyang tumatawag si Abrianna sa telepono niya.

"Ate, pumunta ka rito! Please, Ate. Kailangan kita. Ate, si Mama!" Nagsimulang humagulgol ang kapatid sa kabilang linya habang nanlalamig naman siyang nakatayo at walang masabi "Ate, inatake si Mama. Nirerevive na nila si Mama. Ate, please!"

Wala sa wisyo siyang tumakbo patungo sa sasakyan. Hindi niya alam kung paano iproproseso ang lahat ng narinig niya pero alam niya na kailangan niyang pumunta sa kinaroroonan ng ina. Pumasok siya sa kotse at agad na pinaharurot ito papunta sa ospital, hindi alintana ang mga busina ng mga sasakyan na kaniyang nilalagpasan.
