What am I supposed to do? What am I supposed to do? What am I supposed to do? The question and all variations of it ran through Izuku's head, over and over.
I have to go, he thought multiple times, out of pure instict to be safe. But he'd stop himself, fearing a painful death.
His father hadn't given him another bottle of pills, from now on he'd have to be given them one at a time. That'd make things harder too.
It was beginning to be difficult to keep track of all his problems and issues. One, everything he knows was a lie. Two, he's trapped. Three, he has to take this harmful drug to live. Four, what about his real family. Five, six, seven, more and more. When will it all end?

Aizawa stood in his dark room, an investigation board on his wall, and his dark hair tied out of his face. He's long overdue for a shave and a haircut, a bath or shower too, but he's too focused and consumed by his worrying.
He sips on a cup of coffee, looking over all the papers and notes stuck onto the bulletin board. A missing poster sat front-and-center, a knife with his fingerprints in an evidence bad tacked up too, and every tip given to the police written down and stapled; he thought he knew everything, but it wasn't enough. There was something missing.
He took a seat, eyeing all the papers and sipped his black coffee again. He kept replaying all the things Midoriya said to him that night and wished he hadn't doubted the boy for a second.
"I need help.." he clearly remembers the boy saying. "I still.. I still can't remember."
Aizawa hates to think about what the villains must have put his boy through, but now, thanks to that night, his theory is much less vague.
"The yellow pill was for my amnesia..?" Now, and even then, he knew that whatever the pill was, it wasn't for amnesia. Or for anything good.
He turned when his door opened and let in a white light along with a familiar face. "Hizashi, any news?"
The blond sighed heavily as he walked further into the room. "Because they didn't use the warping villain this time, there was an opportunity to follow them."
Aizawa furrowed his brows. "And yet you don't seem to come bearing good news?"
Present Mic. looked over to the investigation board and took a deep breath through his nose. He crossed his arms as he exhaled, "though we had the opportunity, and a few men on their trail.. they were fast. Once security lost track of them, we started checking cameras but they must've had an escape plan ready; they went into the shadows of an alley and we don't know where they went from there.."
Aizawa's expression was one of anger, he scoffed through his teeth then crossed his arms. "So it was a bust. Again."
"Sadly.." There was a long pause between the two of them and Aizawa didn't notice Hizashi's worried gaze as he stared at all his notes. "Hey man.. When's the last time you slept..?"
Aizawa looked up to his friend's expression then back to the collected evidence. "I slept last night," he told him simply before glancing off to the side. "For an hour.." he mumbled.
"Okay, that's enough."
"Wha-" Hizashi took the cup of coffee from Aizawa's hands and set it on the table behind him.
"You need some more sleep, 'kay, Shouta? Get up.." he pulled his friend out of the chair he was in and brought him over to his bed.
"'Zashi, stop it. I'm fine, I swear, there's no need for this," Aizawa protested along the way but Hizashi wouldn't listen. "C'mon, this is unnecessary. You know me, I hardly ever sleep, regardless. And Midoriya-"
Hizashi pushed him to sit on the edge of the bed. "Midoriya would benefit from you more when you're brain is fully on. Not running on caffeine for a week."
Aizawa huffed, he's right. He looked back over to the board on his wall.
"It'll still be there when you wake up," Hizashi assured, jokingly.
As he layed down, unwillingly, Aizawa wondered and kind of envied how lighthearted Hizashi could be in this situation. His thoughts didn't carry on forever, though, with his head down, in the dark room, his eyelids became heavy rather quickly and he fell asleep.
Present Mic. smiled, feeling slight accomplishment, before he turned to the board on the wall.
"Now what have you been up to.." he mumbled as he wandered over to see.
(Don't know where this came from-)

It's very late at night now as Izuku has come to somewhat of a decision.
The boy leaves his room, slowly pushing the door open and peeking into the hall. He sighs as there isn't anyone in sight.
He glances both ways again before stepping out of his room and closing the door. He walks through the quiet to where the dining room is and sees nothing but darkness. The silence and stillness is unsettling but also somewhat comforting..?
Either way, it makes it easier for him. Midoriya crosses the room, passes the tv room and goes down another short hallway to the front door, quietly passing his father's room.
The door creeks slightly, not loud enough to wake anyone though, as he opens and shuts it behind him.
"Going somewhere?"
He flinched at the familiar voice and backed away, his eyes adjusting to the darkness as he stared at the person. They sat in a chair with a cigarette on the front patio.
His heart skipped beats as he stared at the villain. "Does it matter, father..?," he asked unsteadily.
All for One narrowed his eyes, "not necessarily. I'd still like to know what prompted this. You know that if you leave for-"
"That if I leave, I die. I don't need the reminder," he tried to stay brave and calm as he spoke to him. He sighed. "...I'm not going for good, you already know that's assured. I just wanted some air."
He gestured out to the sidewalk. "Go ahead then.."
