Dabi walked in as Deku was searching for the stupid book, even though its purpose is starting to slip his mind.
"What are you doing?," he asks, seeing the boy leaned under the bed.
He startled and hits his head on the wood frame before seeing that it's Dabi who had entered his room. "My.. My notebook is gone. I know I had it under the pillow, but.." he says as he continues to look.
"It's no use," Dabi tells the boy, getting him to lift his head again. "The boss told Shigaraki to search the room and take anything you shouldn't have. After the stunt you pulled, they're all being more cautious."
Midoriya sat on his bed and stared at the floor. "Stunt..?"
"Wait-" Dabi's eyes widened. "Shit, just a little more time using that damn drug and you're already forgetting. 'Fast working' my ass, that shit's like lightning."
"I think I'm even more confused than before.." he admits. "I know I stopped taking my medicine and that made dad mad, but I don't really recall anything else that would've made them mad..?"
Dabi sighed. "You still want to leave here, right?"
Izuku chews on his lower lip in contemplation. "Maybe.. yes? I don't know. Where would I even go?"
"You don't have to worry about that, you'll probably go to a hospital then you can be with your mother. There's something else I have to do before I can help you out of here though, so lay low for a little while longer."
"So I just keep doing whatever they tell me..?"
He nods. "Yeah. For now."

Todoroki shuts off another call from the same unknown number. It's called several times over the past couple days and he's ignored it, having his mind on other things.
It's not helping his migrane either. And the number calls again as he's getting home from school. This time he just let's it ring, tossing it on the table as he goes to his room.
He shuts his door and sets his bag on the floor, going to lay with his face in a pillow. It's been exhausting for him for a while, for everyone really.
He has faith that Midoriya will come back, he's not dead. He just knows he could do something if only he had a lead to go off of.
He turns over as he notices a paper that his hand had landed on when he crashed onto his mattress. He raises an eyebrow as he sits up and unfolds it. His eyes widen when he reads the few words written on it.
Stop ignoring those damn calls, Shouto. It's Touya. Don't you want your friend back.
Shouto jumps out of bed to get to his phone. When he reaches it, another call is coming through and this time, of course, he picks up. "Touya?!," he shouts, making his way back to his room.
"Don't yell idiot, dad could hear you."
"No-one else's here. Tell me what the hell you meant by that note?!"
"Shut up and I could tell you," he groaned. "It wasn't a threat dumbass, I'm trying to help him out of this mess."
"Help him..?," Todoroki gulped. It makes sense as he puts some thought to it. "I don't know the situation.. Our teacher and the police have kept everything under wraps. What can I do?"

-The next night-
Midoriya's nervous as he goes to his father in the dead of night. He's already taken his pills today and he isn't entirely sure why he has to do this.
"Father," he gets his attention and bows his head respectfully.
"Yes, Izuku, what is it?"
"I'd like to go out tonight. Just for a stroll, I know to be careful."
All For One watches him meticulously. "And you'll return..?"
"I came back last time, didn't I?"
His father sighs, "very well." He waves a hand to shoo him away.
He's off. As soon as he's given permission, he heads to the door and hops off the front porch, following Dabi's instructions to go to the specific playground.
He doesn't see anyone as he walks across the woodchips to the junglegym set. He looks in every direction as he steps up the small stairs to a platform. Still no-one, and it's cold with a breeze.
He waits though, like Dabi told him to. It seems that's all he's good for without any gage of right and wrong for himself, he just takes orders from others.
He hears a voice and footsteps and turns in time to be grabbed and held quickly. This person is taller than him and warm, Izuku's head is held tightly to the others chest.
"No- stop! Let me go! Let me go! Don't-!" He fights and pushes to get away, afraid that he doesn't know who grabbed him. He stumbles back onto the slack bridge when the other let go and he meets his gaze. His hands are out in front of him defensively, one finger pulled back, ready to attack.
"Midoriya.. I'm sorry."
There are tears running down Izuku's face, "I- I know you.. I'm sorry, I don't-.." He backed up again, his arms lowering. "I'm sorry. I dont even know which side is trying to hurt me anymore.. I'm just confused and scared."
Todoroki meets Bakugou's eyes, knowing what they would have to do. He looked back to Izuku. "Midoriya, we're friends. All we want is to get you back to safety, but.."
"I can't go!," he tells him. Dabi set this up though, didn't he..? What if this was just the easiest way to get rid of me? "I'd die. And it hurt so much the last time I tried.."
"Deku," Bakugou stepped forward now. "The plan is the get a blood sample tonight, make a cure for that drug then get you out of there. This is the best chance we've got, the two of us already know the location because of that one guy."
"It's likely to work too, you just have to let us take some blood.."
Izuku listened to them with teary eyes staring at them.
He falls to his knees uncomfortably on the metal bridge and cries, hiding behind his hands. It seems so impossible. How long has he even been kept with the villains like this? There's no way it would be this simple.
"I can't, there's no way I could go along with that, it's barely a workable plan."
"If you don't trust us, do you at least trust Dabi?," Shouto asks as he crouches down. "We're all on your side, you know."
"My side??," Deku snaps up. "I don't even know what side I'm on! I've killed people! Heroes. Bystanders. Whoever got in my way! Does that not make me a bad guy right then and there?? But I know that I knew people like you too! Even if I don't even remember a single one of you! I can't even ask what side I was originally on, because both sides will sound like a lie to me!"
"Midoriya, which side feels more right to you? Do you think that heroes deserve to die for some greater plan, or do you think villains should be imprisoned for hurting and killing innocent people?"
"Deku, we're on the side of people not getting hurt.."
(Aight, back into writers block for meee)
