Liars (Villain Deku)

23-Recovery

After only two days, things have started to get better and better.

Hizashi is currently recovering in a hospital and also under investigation by the Heroes Internal Affairs.

He was outed as a traitor after searching his room and found a box of letters to and from the league which also exposed their hideout. A raid was planned but has not yet been executed.

On the Side of Midoriya, he's now become cooperative and the doctors are working on the antidote to the yellow poll's samples they got.

Several of his classmates have stopped by to talk to him and realized the state of his memory. Most of them tried to ignore it and keep him in high spirits, Kirishima was able to put a smile on his face the easiest and Midoriya liked anytime he was around.

Inko's gotten to see him many times as well and Izuku apologized and told her he still didnt remember her and she cried a few times.

On the fifth day, the villains were raided and only two of them got away, Kurogiri and All For One, but the rest have been taken into custody.

The doctors and scientists working on the antidote finished early in the morning and now it's time for Midoriya to try it out.

A pair of doctors, plus Inko came into the room, Aizawa and several of his students waiting outside.

"Okay, we're going to inject you with this and it may take a few minutes up to an hour to kick in," one of the doctors held up a vile of the liquid and glanced between Inko and her son.

"Yes,.. do it," she mumbled, giving her consent.

The doctor rolled up Izuku's sleeve and rubbed a cold towel on his arm while the other filled a syringe with the cure.

"It's gonna sting a bit," the doctor said before sticking the needle in his arm. Izuku hissed a bit and closed his eyes, it definitely burned more than just a 'sting'.

For a long while nothing changed, all his friends and family didn't know what to do and were losing hope. When he went to bed that night, Izuku felt bad that his mom was worried about him and that she couldn't do anything, same for all the others.

He ended up passing out around one in the morning after everyone else had gone home.

"I think you've added a thousand veiws to this one yourself."

"He's the coolest in the universe!!"

What is this?? Izuku doesnt understand what is happening.

"Can I be a hero even without a quirk?"

"Young Midoriya.. You, too, can become a hero."

"Smaaaasshhhhh!!!"

"Woah, the USJ is so cool."

"Who the hell are those guys?"

"Kacchan, we have to work together on this or we'll fail!"

"I dont need your help."

"Is that the League of villains?!"

"Midoriya, get back to the building, it's too dangerous in the forest right now."

Izuku gasped as he shot up in bed, his heart monitor going off like fireworks as he tried to control his breathing. "What..? I.." He couldnt form a complete thought.

A doctor rushed into the room quickly, "are you okay? What's happened?" He stopped when he noticed Midoriya crying.

Izuku held the doctors shoulder to brace himself. "I remember," he sobbed. "How could I have done such horrible things..?"

The morning was filled with lots of hugs, apologies and crying. When Izuku saw the people he hurt was when he felt the worst.

He apologized for not remembering anytime they met, for hurting anyone, for killing heroes and for being captured in the first place. He's blaming himself for everything that's hapoened even as everyone tells him it wasnt his fault and he wont be punished.

It took months before he was able to move on completely from that time, society had to recover from the loss of so many heroes and he didnt attend his classes for a long while either.

But now things are looking up. Izuku got a haircut, he's been working out again, and his smike's even come back a bit.

(Sorry that this is pretty anticlimactic, this chapter isnt fun to write for me. Deku does end up becoming a hero but he's not number one, just because of all the time off he took he got behind.

Anyway sorry, this is the end of the story. I know some of you wanted him to stay a villain but I was really just running out of steam on this book.

If u want another villain!deku story, I can recomend 'Violent World' on my page. That one was put together a lot better and I actually put thought into the plot lmao.
