It was the first day of summer in the amazing Florida and I already had everything planned out. I Sasha am going to have the best summer in the history of good summers. I was going to hang out with my boyfriend Austin, my best friends Tiffany and Brianna and spend my extra time tanning!
As I lay on my back in my bed, day dreaming of the perfect moments that this summer has in store. Austin texts me

'Hey Sasha, want to go to the beach today?'

Austin and I have been dating for seven months now, and I love him so much. Some say we're the perfect couple!

Austin has brown hair and brown eyes. He's almost the same height as I am. Which means he's pretty short for a guy. I'm approximately 5'6.

I roll over and grab my phone to text him back

'yep be there in 20 luv ya'.

I jump up off my bed and run to the bathroom just down the hall, turn the shower on and get in. I don't bother to wait for the shower to warm up, I don't have that kind of time. I grab the razor and of course since I'm rushing I cut my ankle and it won't stop bleeding.

"That's just great!" I tell myself.

I get out of the shower and grab a band aid and my tooth brush. I don't bother to blow dry my hair because I have to be at the beach in like fifteen minutes now! I throw on my new polka-dot bikini and run down the stairs and out the door.

I jump in my hot pink punch buggy, which I got last year as a gift for getting my licence. I rush down the street then slam on the brakes.

"Oh shit!" I turn the car around and run back into my house and then sprint up the stairs and grab my phone and more importantly my towel.

I jump down the stairs and out the door and into my car again. I only have seven minutes to get there and some days it takes twenty I'll never make it! I promised Austin that my summer goal would be to never be late. So far I suck at it. I think to myself.

I pull into the parking lot of the beach and see Austin waiting for me with his arms crossed. I start to blush and a smile creeps onto my face, he looks so hot shirtless and with his muscles bulging. Austin doesn't work out. He doesn't' have to, he's one of the gifted people who are naturally perfect while the rest of us live off of air.

I get out of the car and walk towards him, I can hear the wonderful sound of my flip flops hitting the pavement, and oh how I love summer. My school doesn't like us wearing sandles, they say it causes too much noise.

"Hey beautiful," Austin says when I get to him.

I wrap my arms around his waist and kiss his soft, talented lips.

"You're late." He mumbles onto my forehead.

"I tried, that's all that counts." He chuckles a little and we walk towards the beach.
