The secrets of summer

Chapter 29

We are now on our seventh round of body shots. I'm all sticky from Colton's spit.

"Who wants another round?" Cheers Hope. We all cheer.

"Let's switch it up! How about new partners?" I suggest. Cassie grips onto Evan like it's her life. "C'mon we can pick names from a hat or something."

Hope nods and Colton places soft kisses along my neck. We all right down our names on slips of paper except for Cassie and place them in a hat.

Cassie reaches in and pulls out a piece. She's lost a bit of color and I'm unsure if it is from the drinks or if she's nervous about something.

"Sash, I got you." I smile and walk over to her. I mush her cheeks together and laugh at the way she looks.

It's my turn to pick a name, I'd be fine with anyone. I don't know Evan that well though.

My hand fumbles around with a few pieces and I grasp onto one. I read it in my mind. I can feel a smile creep onto my face.

"Colton." He walks over to me and we get into a line. He doesn't waste any time.

"Evan." He reads aloud and we all cheer. Evan blushes and walks over to Colton.

"I'm not into guys." He says to Colton and we all giggle.

"You know he's not gay right?" Explains Hope.

"I knew that and I got Hope." Justin tenses and Hope leans in to him. She caresses his jaw and softly kisses his lips.

"Now, I have Justin. And you can do Cassie." He nods and we fill the shots up.

"Wait! We should do body parts!" I explain. "Do the same idea, all right down a body part and we pick from a hat. Let's not share though it'll be a surprise. And try to keep it PG." I glare at Colton knowing exactly what he's thinking.

Cassie goes first and the rest of us down the line. We strip down to our bras and underwear.

I close my eyes and Cassie licks the sly off of my shoulder. I'm slightly relieved and then, she takes the shot and everyone cheers.

It's my turn and Colton closes his eyes. I don't know who wrote this down but this would be awkward if he was a girl. It was probably Hope. She tends to do crazy things.

I suck on his nipple and I can hear people laugh. I turn bright red and hurry up to take the shot. Everyone cheers and I look up at Colton who has a very sexy smile on his face.

Everyone else goes but I'm not focused on them. The burning feeling I have right now is so strong. I want Colton so badly right now. No matter what just happened two hours ago.

"Let's have a sleep over! All of us tonight." Suggests Hope. "My parents are out again."

"Hope can I talk to you alone?" she nods and I think she has tears in her eyes.

We walk up to her bed room and I take her hands in mine. "Where are your parents?"

She starts crying and I knew my suspicions were correct. "They passed away in a fire three summers ago. I was away at camp. Tonight is the anniversary of their death."

I hug her tightly in my arms and it all makes sense. Them never being here, why she wasn't at school before. She had to work. It also explains why she is so drunk today.

"I'm sorry." I tell her. I lay with her on her bed until she collects herself and we walk back downstairs with the others.

"Let's put on a movie." She says to the rest of them.

We get seated on the couches and turn the Television on.
