The secrets of summer

Chapter 13

We get into the car and I ask "A recruit for what?"

She smiles and I have noticed it's almost evil like "For at school, we're going to rule it with a little help from you."

I look at her like she has two heads "We are going to need one more. And I know just the girl."

She claps her hands together and squeals "Who?"

I tell about my best friend Bri and she asks to meet her. I feel as though this will never work. This is too much of a clique. Hope demands that we arrange to get together all four of us tomorrow. I really doubt we're going to rule the school as Hope puts it.

"So who is everyone's placement in this then?"I ask.

She laughs and says "We need a beauty, the "dumb", the popular and slut" I look at her, questioning for who is who? She continues "By the way you described Brianna she is the beauty, I will be the popular one since I'm new and everyone will want to be my friend! Then we have the dumb which will be Cassie, but she's only pretending, she's brilliant."

I stop her from talking, knowing what she is going to say next "Are you calling me a slut?" I half shout.

She looks at me and nods "You did sleep with Colton while you're with Austin."

I know she's right but I don't want it to be. "I did not sleep with him we just talked, okay!"

It's the next day and we are all going to meet at Bri's house around 1:30. I really hope everyone gets along today, it'll be nice having some new girlfriends! I get there half an hour earlier to tell her about Hope. "She looks like she's popular, stunning, nice, and funny. I can actually see the two of you being best friends."

When they finally get here everyone is getting along well. That's until we start talking about last night...

"We met these two guys at a bar and I invited them to come back to my place." Hope starts to tell Bri and Cassie.

I start panicking I completely forgot to tell Hope that Colton is Bri's boy toy. I can only wish that Hope doesn't mention any names. Just when that thought enters my mind

"Ooooh did you get there name and numbers?" asks Cassie.

"YES! Mine was Justin, him and I will definitely be seeing each other again!" Hope nearly screams.

"Sasha?" questions Bri.

Oh shit what do I tell her, this will go wrong know matter what.

"Ummm his name was Colton" Her jaw drops and the color drains from her face. "It wasn't like that. We just talked."

I try to explain but Hope chirps in "Not from what I heard."

Bri runs from the couch and into her room, I know she's crying. I shoot Hope the dirtiest look I know "That's Bri's boyfriend! Why would you say that to her?"

Hope smiles, I want to smack that look right off her face. It's like she enjoys medalling in other people's business.

"You really are a slut aren't you?" exclaims Cassie.

"Good choice Hope." I hate the two of them already.
