As we drive to the campus we are way too quiet. He still has yet to tell me who that girl was in the lobby and I am almost terrified to ask him. I might not like the answer but the look on his face since we saw her has me worried.
"Hadin." I start. "talk to me."
"She is none of your concern Sara. Just drop it." Hadin snaps.
"How do you think this is going to work if we aren't honest with each other?" I snap back and he doesn't answer me. He just focus' on the road towards the campus. Once we pull up to the campus I am out of the truck before it even stops. I start walking towards my apartment that is right across from the campus.
"Sara." Hadin yells out at me. I can hear his boots hitting the pavement following me.
"I am not going to be with someone that doesn't know how to tell me things Hadin. I told you something that I could have hidden but I didn't and now your hiding who that god damn girl is that bumped into us at your new pent house!" I scream at him from across the way. Everyone looks at us. I enter into my apartment building and start climbing the stairs Hadin right behind me. "I need the truth. I don't need secrets." I slam the door in his face and lock the door. I lean against it.
"I know your mad. I know you want answers. I'm sorry Sara. I will see you after class." Hadin says through the door. I hear him walking down the stairs. I open the door and see he has left the apartment building and a part of me is glad knowing he isn't telling me something.
I enter into my bedroom and grab my books when I hear the door open then close. I walk out of my room to see Ashlynn and Jace are in the living room.
"Hey." Ashlynn smiles at me.
"Hey." I wave at her.
"Is everything okay?" Ashlynn asks me.
"No, Jace um, we saw someone today and Hadin got really weird." I tell him.
"Who?" Jace asks me.
"I don't know he wouldn't tell me. He got really mean and worried. She was blonde she had on a white grayish sweater and black leggings on." I explain her to him. Jace's face has the same expression Hadin's did. "What?" I ask him.
"That's not possible." Jace states.
"What's not possible?" I ask him.
"If who your describing is the same person I think it is." Jace trails off "Hadin should really be the one to tell you this Sara." Jace tells me.
"But that's the issue he wont tell me anything!" I tell Jace. "I told him something that was hard for me and he can't tell me this?" I state.
"I know. I'm sorry but I need to go find Hadin. I love you Ashlynn. Give him time Sara." Jace tells me before he leaves the apartment.
"Do you have any idea on what their talking about?" I ask Ashlynn.
"No. I wish I did though. Where did you guys see her?" Ashlynn asks me.
"Hadin was showing me his pent house he just rented." I tell Ashlynn.
"I wish I knew." Ashlynn tells me.
"I've got to get to class. But if Jace finds out anything can you please text me?" I ask her.
"Of course love." Ashlynn smiles and hugs me.
As I walk out of my apartment a million things start running through my head. Maybe she's another one of his fuck buddies. Maybe she's an ex that hasn't gotten over him. Why can't he just tell me. I walk up the path not pay attention to anything in my way when I literally run into someone. My books hit the ground.
