As I sit on the hospital bed, I keep replaying the attack in my mind repeatedly. I can hear the glass shattering I can feel it on my face. I want to see his face under the hoodie, but I can't. It happened too fast and the hoodie covered his face all I saw was black where his face should have been. I look over seeing Hadin sitting right beside me holding my hand. I've already been cleaned up and my cut has been glued back together. We are just waiting for Detective Jarrod Benson to come and ask me questions. How the hell did he find me? Why can't he leave me alone? I don't want him; I don't want this life anymore.

"Sara." Hadin whispers noticing the tears falling down my face. "Are you okay?" he asks me.

"He's never going to leave me alone." I whisper.

"We will find him, I promise you." Hadin tells me.

"You know Raymond said the same thing seven years ago when this all started. He has been out there plotting and waiting for the best time to come after me and he's finally got it. He knows me too well and the problem with that is I don't know him at all." I pause. "I can't help anyone with anywhere he might be, anyone he might confide in. I'm useless."

"Knock it off. I mean it. This isn't your fault." He tells me.

"What if it was Ashlynn that was with me in the room like it was supposed to be?" I ask him. "What if he had done this to her. I can't risk everyone that I care about." I cry.

"Sara. I'm done having this conversation with you. I'm going to find him and kill him I swear. He's not going to hurt you." He promises me.

"Don't make promises you can't keep Hadin." I tell him.

We are interrupted when a knock appears on the hospital door. We both look up to see Jarrod enter the hospital room.

"Sara." he greets me. "Hadin." He nods. "I need to ask you a few questions about tonight." He tells me.

"Okay." I shake my head and start to tell him what I remember. "I came back to the hotel room with Hadin, we" I pause. "Fell asleep. I woke up with a migraine and went into the bathroom to find some Advil. I turned on the sink to throw water on my face when I stood back up there was a man wearing a black hoodie behind me. I couldn't see his face the hoodie was covering it. Before I could scream or anything, he grabbed my hair and slammed my face into the mirror and off the sink. I hit the ground, and everything went blurry. I heard Hadin run in and push the man. I somewhat saw him jump over him and I, he ran out. Hadin followed him out but he was gone." I tell him.

"Okay. I'm going to assume that this is Connor's doing." Jarrod tells me.

"Geeze you think." Hadin says sarcastically. "What do we do to keep her safe?" Hadin asks Jarrod in a nicer tone.

"Honestly, Connor is the type of stalker that will not stop until he gets what he wants. What he wants is Sara. In his mind she belongs to him. He will go through anyone and everyone until he gets to her. This tonight proves how far he will go to have her. I think he is upset that she left Raymond and went to you not back to him. That's why he's acting worse than the normal stalker ex. Sara, I think you should confine yourself to your apartment for the next few weeks." He tells me.

"No. I can't I have a new job I'm starting in two weeks; I have my best friend's wedding and I have classes. I can't live in fear forever." I tell him. "I've been doing that for the past seven years. I can't do it anymore." I tell him.

"Okay then my suggestion. Get self-defense classes. That way you can defend yourself against Connor." He demands me.

"Okay. I'll look into that." I agree with him.
