The next few days fly by no sign of Connor. No problems. Hadin has given me space and only comes around when I'm with Ashlynn and Jace. Knowing the wedding is coming up I can't help but get nervous. As I drive two towns to Rangeley Maine to meet Ashlynn and Jace at the hotel. It's one day before the wedding. Tonight's the rehearsal and I know I got to see him. As I pull up to the Loon Lodge Inn. I park my car beside Ashlynn's and turn it off taking a breath. Everyone else is already here. Work ran late today so I couldn't get here on time. Erick has me working like crazy. I don't mind it because I am able to keep my mind off of Hadin and what happened. I pull down the visor and lift up the mirror looking at myself once more. My hair is curled and pined back half. I'm wearing a red trumpet/Mermaid Off-the-Shoulder Sweep Train Lace Evening Dress. I look over at the entrance to see Hadin standing there welcoming people. I take a breath grabbing my small black handbag. I see him looking right at my car. He starts to walk over to me. He opens my door extending his hand. I grab his hand as I get out of the car. My dress falling down to the ground. He just looks at me.
"Thank you." I smile at him.
"You look beautiful." He whispers to me.
"Thank you. You look Handsome yourself." I tell him.
"Come on." Hadin turns putting my hand through his arm. Hadin leads me through the entrance towards the back lawn of the Inn.
As we walk through the doors my mouth drops open white twinkle lights are hung from the trees, white lace table clothes are covering more then 200 tables. There is a arch at the back of the lawn in front of the lake. There are white roses through the arch with twinkle lights running along the arch. A DJ is off to the right of the yard. We walk down the steps as Hadin stops and turns to me. I look at him and smile.
"It's good to see you." He tells me.
"It's good to see you as well." I tell him.
"Sara theses past few days have been hard for me." Hadin tells me.
"I know. But I appreciate you giving me space." I whisper to him.
God the way he is looking at me. It's making my skin crawl. I want to wrap my arms around him and kiss him so badly. But I know I can't. I still need space and time. Who knows if this will help but I know I need this, We both do.
"Where is Ashlynn?" I ask him.
"She is still in her room right now." Hadin tells me.
"I'm going to go get a drink." I announce walking away from him. I walk over to the bar standing there waiting for someone to come over and help me. "Hi can I have a Hurricane?" I ask the bar tender.
"Damn starting early aren't you?" I hear a voice beside me. "Everything okay with you and Hadin?" She asks me. I roll my eyes and look at the familiar voice beside me. Nina Marshal.
"Everything's fine." I smile at her.
"Really because I haven't see you two in a room together for more then two minutes." She states her observation.
"Thank you for studying me and your ex fuck buddy. Maybe you should worry about your own life and stay out of mine. It's none of your business what is going on with I or Hadin. Have a nice night Nina." I smile as the bar tender hands me my drink I walk away towards the party. As I enter the yard I see Hadin standing over by some of Jace and his friends. He is looking around for something. Hadin catches my eye and smiles at me. I nod and walk over to the seating chart. I find my name and table number. As I walk over to my table I sit down. I look down at my phone when a chair beside me pulls out and someone sits beside me. I look over to see Hadin there.
