Ch:5

Jaden woke up at 6 am as he usually does. He usually sleeps at 10 am and wakes up at 5 am cause it was a habit he acquired from his mother . He walks into his bathroom, staring at his reflection in the mirror. He leans on the mirror and stares into his own eyes, which were shiny as a black pearl. His dark locks of hair fell on his face. His pale white skin made his dark circles look even darker. He didn't know what he was doing. But staring into his eyes made him feel less empty. His hot breath steamed the mirror taking a glance once more; he pulled away. And started brushing his teeth sloppily and washed his face; splashing cold water on his face to awaken him from his sleep. He took a shower and got ready for school.

He entered the school premises. This time something was different the moment he entered, every head turned to look at him weirdly. Which made him uncomfortable.

Jaden's POV

What in the world is going on? Why is everyone looking at me like that? Do I look weird or something? I walked to my class ignoring everyone eyeing me. Suddenly, I was stopped by some random girl. She had long straight unnatural scarlet hair and green eyes. She was pretty but the face she made was of pure hatred, anger flashing in her eyes. All the attention of the students was now on us, but they acted like they didn't notice us. But their ears were wide open to listen to our conversation. She started speaking in a mocking loud voice.

"Where do you think you're going, you man whore? "

Did she just call me a man whore? What the hell is wrong with this woman? I stared at her blankly. She snapped

"You better keep your disgusting hands away from him or you'll regret it!"

Who was she talking about? I didn't touch anybody. What is wrong with her? Is she drunk or something?

I just sighed and replied with a calm voice.

"Look...I don't know what you're talking about, okay? And I don't have the time to waste. So I may take my leave."

She seemed to get angrier as I spoke, her nose was flaring up and her face turned red with anger. Wait a minute... this feels like...Deja Vu? I didn't care about what she felt about me. She was acting like a bitch, so I just walked away. Everyone was enjoying the drama. They tried hard not to laugh at the scene. She was furious. She lost it.

"YOU FUCKING BASTARD GET BACK HERE, I AM NOT DONE TALKING TO YOU!!"

Her friends who were beside her tried to stop her from jumping me, while the crowd just couldn't take it anymore and busted into fits of laughter at the girls who lost their shit within seconds of talking to him.

She ran to the bathroom, tears filling her eyes cursing the innocent boy for making a fool out of her although it was her fault all along. She was beyond angry.

Jaden's POV

What just happened? I can't wrap my head around this. What was she talking about? Like I don't get it. Who was that guy she is talking about? I was sitting in my seat trying not to think about what just went down. The whole class was whispering and murmuring something to each other and laughing at the same time. I just looked out of the window lost in my thoughts. Thinking about nothing, just observing nature.
