Eric's POV

I was the happiest person in this world when Jaden agreed to come with me. It almost feels like a date. I screamed with joy internally. I don't know why I was acting like a teenage girl on her first date.

What have you done to me Jaden? And the most surprising thing is that he didn't hesitate this time neither did he argue with me like, he usually does. Just maybe he is starting to like me a little bit. I think.

This feels like a dream... I hope it's not a dream. I pinch myself to see if it was a dream or not. Jaden looked at me, giving me a weird look. He looked so adorable, I swear, I would kiss him then and there. But I couldn't, it would scare him off and he would never speak to me ever again and I can't let that happen.

I will have to go slow with Jade because he is not like the other girls, one small mistake and that would blow my chances of getting any closer to him and I can't let that happen.

I was honestly a little pissed. I swear I have never lost my patience in front of anybody but just thinking about Jaden being with someone else rather than me makes my blood boil. Although I couldn't do anything about it because people were watching if they weren't there, I swear, I would have killed Emilio on the spot.

His face really pisses me off. I am just waiting to wipe that stupid shit-eating grin of his. I know he hates me for sleeping with his girlfriend but it was not my fault that bitch came to me begging me to fuck her cause I guess Emilio couldn't please her I chuckled to myself. And I was the type to fuck anybody who wants to be fucked cause that's the only thing that gives me some sense of superiority and satisfaction but after it. It just feels empty and cold inside.

Not saying that it was bad or anything but something always felt missing and I couldn't figure out the exact problem?

But man Emilio made a big mistake. He shouldn't have involved Jaden into this shit, just because of a bitch who ditched him. That Lil bitch should have just settled it with me if he had a problem like seriously how childish could he be.

From the time I got with his girlfriend, he stopped speaking to me. It's funny to say this but we were actually friends but after that incident, he didn't say a word and just ignored me. I don't blame him though.

Although all of a sudden out of nowhere. Why did he decide to appear after so long?

Jaden's POV

Is he serious right now? He invited me to talk to him and he just spaced out the whole walk to the Cafe.

Something seems to bother him because he was having mood swings. The expression on his face kept changing. At times he smiled then frowned then again smiled and chuckled he was acting really weird... I don't know if I should say something to him or leave him the way he is.

Man Eric was really pissing me off. We almost reached the cafe but he was still lost in his world. He almost passed by the cafe but I stopped him by pulling him back by his shirt. He gave me a surprised look.

Jaden:
"You said we were going to the cafe I work in right?"

Eric:
"Ya."

He was about to walk forward. I stopped him in these tracks. He looked at me weirdly.

Eric:
"What now?"

Jaden:
"Where are you going? We already reached."

He looked left and right realizing that we already reached the cafe. A small blush crept on his face.

Eric:
"Oh... sorry"

Jaden:
"Did you hit your head or something?"

Eric :
"No, I didn't. Why do you ask?"

He looks away scratching his head. He does that a lot especially when he is confused. It's kinda cute tho not going to lie.

Jaden:
"Cause you're acting like an idiot. Stop wasting time and let's just get in."

Eric:
"Yeah".

The bell chimed, when we entered the cafe. It felt kind of odd to enter my workplace as a customer. Mrs. Margaret greeted us with a smile.

Mrs. Margaret:
"Jaden what brings you here? You know you have a shift in the evening not right now ."

She said in a sweet voice.

Jaden:
" Yeah, I know. But today my friend over here Eric has invited me for a treat."

I pointed over to Eric who was again spacing out. I rolled my eyes and elbowed him in his gut. He came back to reality.

Eric:
"Oh. Hey! Am Eric nice to meet you, Mrs... Margaret."

He glanced at her name tag and answered with a really charming smile, offering his hand for a handshake. She blushed and shook his hands.

Mrs. Margaret:
"Oh, My what a gentleman. Nice to meet you too young man. What would y'all like to have "

Eric smiles at her and orders. He asked me if I wanted anything else, in turn, I said anything would be fine and took a seat near the window side table soon after, Eric placed the order he walked towards me and sat in front of me

Margaret seems to take an interest in Eric. As she kept smiling at him and he smiled back. Of course, he was charming and polite.

But I know the smile that he has on his face was not genuine. Almost like he forced it. And that always bothers me.

I hate people who try to please others by acting well, just to get on their good side. It just reminds me of my dad. I cringed. Calling him dad was a damn joke.

He didn't even try to act like a dad, and to be honest, Eric is the same. They both are the same, they both, only think about themselves and they get what they want and they'd do anything to reach their goal. They manipulate girls just to get with them and that disgusts me to the core.

I glared at Eric.

Jaden:
"Spit it."
