Jaden's POV:

Eric was back to normal again. Flirting like, he always did. God knows why he was acting so strangely. I think he hit his head or something cause it was, so odd for a guy like him to act this dumb...Just maybe a little cute ...He smirked at me. NOPE! not at all.

Sometimes he acts so strange; which is nice to see for a change from his usual not so honest self. But now, he is back to his playboy persona; he usually puts on that persona in front of me which is super annoying.

Although, I still found it a little strange to know that the smartest, most handsome, most popular guy; in my school liked a guy like me... A guy that no one wants to be around. At first, I thought that he must be joking or trying to play around, but now I think maybe he is being serious. I don't know what his intention is.

Eric:
"So... do you want to know?"

He asked suspiciously.

Jaden:
"Yes, I do."

I replied confidently.

Eric:
"Can't wait to hear that on our wedding day."

He mumbled in a low voice. I quickly countered back as I heard him say something about the wedding day or something.

Jaden:
"What did you just say?

Eric:
"Nothing."

He blushed and took a sip of his Chocolate. I couldn't help but chuckle. He gave me a radiant smile for God knows what reason.

Jaden:
"What a weirdo."

I thought to myself but the words slipped out of my mouth. I cursed under my breath. Why do we always go off-topic? I sighed, as Eric was looking at me with puppy eyes; spacing out.

Jaden:
"Stop spacing out and spill it."

He gulped.

Eric:
"What? Why are you asking me to spill out my chocolate late?

Jade:
"Eric, stop messing around and just tell me already."

Eric:
"Okay, okay fine. So the story goes like this...

[Flash back]

"Mom where are we going?"
The little kid asked curiously.

"To our neighbor's house."
His mom chimed brushing his hair.

"Oh my God again? I don't wanna go."

The kid whined.

"Why so?"

The mom inquiries the kid.

" It's so boring."

"Then why don't you try making friends."

"With who? The walls?"

The kid questioned unenthusiastically. The mother couldn't help but chuckle.

"No dear, the lady has a kid. Why not try making friends with him."

"What are you talking about? I haven't seen any kid there."

"Well, his mom did say he was shy, so maybe that's why he is never around guests. You should try to befriend him."

The woman said thoughtfully. Flashing the kid a bright smile. The kid thought to himself and then nodded in agreement. Both of them made their way to their neighbor's house.
