Eric's POV

[Flash back]

The next day when the kid and his mom went to meet their neighbor. The neighbor and her son were also there, to welcome them. The kid was so happy to see the boy again. Although, he hid behind his mom, so he couldn't see him properly.

" Hello, Mrs. Watson and little Watson."

The kind lady smiled.

"Hello, Mrs. Christopher. It's nice seeing Jaden for the first time. He is so adorable. Last time when I told Eric about Jaden he seemed really happy. He really wants to be friends with Jaden."

Eric's mother said smiling brightly at Jaden.

"I am glad to know that Eric wants to be Jaden's friend. I hope they can become good friends. Although... Jaden can be a little shy at times. But he's a good kid...Jaden, wish them. ."

The kind lady looked at the boy. He looked at his mom and then peeped from Conner and said in a soft voice.

"Hello."

His voice was so sweet the kid couldn't help but smile.

"Jaden is so adorable."

The boy blushed in a cute shade of pink.

"We should give them some time to know each other."

The lady said and took them to his bedroom, which the kid had already been too the last time. Their moms left them alone.

The boy just stood in the corner. The kid tried getting closer to him but he backed away.

" Hey! I am Eric, nice to meet you."

The kid lends his hand forward for a handshake. The boy slowly moves forward shaking his hand.

"I am J-Jaden."

He said as he looked away. Eric's heart skipped a beat again.

"Would you like to be friends?"

Jaden looked very surprised when the kid said that. He didn't know how to answer him. He just looked at him and nodds his head. Eric was so happy, that he hugged him in excitement.

The boy was taken back and didn't know what to do. The kid he pulled away, looking at Jaden in his dark eyes. He placed his hands on his face. He peck's Jaden's on his lips. It was a quick and innocent kiss. Jaden's eyes widen in confusion.

"W-why did you do that?"

He asked in a low voice.

"Love...I guess."

Eric said uncertainty.

"Love? My mom says she loves me but... she doesn't do what you did."

He looks away, still confused.

" I don't think I love you as your mom does...It's different... I don't know how to explain it...The way that my father loves my mother...."

"But... I am not a girl... "

Jaden looked at him sadly, as he couldn't understand.

"I know, but I love you."

"Why?"

Jaden whined cause he couldn't understand the kid.

" I wonder why? I myself can't understand... "

"It's okay..."

He sighed.

"Then will you marry me?"

"M-Marry, what's that?"
