Jaden's POV

Cassandra leads Jaden to the door. As Cassandra opened the door, they were stopped by a voice.

"Hey!! You're leaving already."

Both of them turned to where the familiar voice was echoing from.

Cassandra:
"Bro, where were you? I was looking for you everywhere."

Cassandra said in a mocking voice and Eric glared back at her. The way they were talking... was kind of... How do I explain this, it's like they knew everything yet, they are hiding it. This is the second time, I sense the same thing.

Jaden :
"I think I should go now..."

Cassandra:
"let, Eric, drive you."

Jaden :
"No, I will just be trouble for him and I would love to walk home ."

Cassandra :
"Oh okay, that's fine... Come visit anytime you want. If you need some help then we will always be here for you ."

Jaden:
"Thank you so much for everything. To be honest this is the first time. I have ever been to someone else's house other than mine. It was nice meeting you. And thanks for the key chain I will keep it safely."

I said that with a smile on my face. Both of the siblings looked surprised and Eric's jaw almost dropped. But a glint of anger could be seen through his eyes.

Cassandra:
"Oh My God you have such a cute smile!!"

Eric wanted to say something but looked away in frustration.

Jaden:
"Well, you have a beautiful smile too. I should go now, bye ."

Cassandra:
"Yeah bye, take care."

I waved and made my way back home. I could feel someone behind me. I turned to look at the one who was behind me. No wonder.

Jaden :
"Why are you following me?"

Eric:
"Well, I just want to, walk you home and to protect you."

Jaden :
"I don't need you, out of all the people in this world to protect me."

Eric :
"You're so mean, all I want to do is protect you and you treat me this way?"

Jaden :
"Dude I don't even know you that well and you keep stalking me. I know you have ulterior motives. Don't you? Don't even dare to get any closer and you know what, the only one I should be protected from is you, psycho."

Eric :
"Why are you saying that? You're hurting my feelings. What did I even do to deserve this."

Jaden:
"Are you kidding me, you don't remember what you did a few minutes ago. You're acting so innocent as if you did no wrong."

Eric :
"I thought you liked tough guys and usually, girls like it. Did I do something wrong?

Jaden:
"What the heck Eric! Do I look like a girl to you? That's messed up. You need help."

Eric:
"No... I need you."

Jaden :
"Yeah right, you probably must have said the same shit to other girls too right? "

Eric:
"Well...there are many....but you're the first guy I ever liked... like my heart beats when I look at you, Jade."

I was surprised by the look on Eric's face. He looked like a beaten puppy. My heart sank a little bit...

Wait but...What if he is lying and just playing games like how he does, with the other girls...like how do you fall for a person, who you don't even know... I don't understand this guy...

Jaden:
"Sweet words won't get you anywhere Eric, don't even try to play games with me."

I said it as harshly as I could. I could sense his hurt and something in him snapped, he came close towards me. I looked him in the eyes.

Eric:
"Is that the way you think of me? "

He growled in a low voice. His voice sends chills down my spine.

Jaden:
"Yes, that's exactly what I think."

Eric was so done with me he glared into my dark orbs and smirks evilly. I could feel a dark aura around him.

Eric :
"I was trying to be nice but If that's not what you want then I will do it my way. And I won't take no for an answer next time ."

He walks away, running his hand through his blond hair, he walks away. I don't understand this guy...All I know is that he can't be trusted because he is hiding something and he has some kind of ulterior motive.

He is not someone that should be trusted. I don't even know what his real motive is.
