Hey
I feel super sick today so if this sucks I'm truly sorry :(
Anyway, enjoy Moxiety!
Third Person
Patton and Virgil had grown so close over the last few days. The majority of this cause is because of Logan and Roman who have none stop argued for hours each day. The arguing has gotten to the point of- Patton can't do anything to stop it. So when distance yelling is coming from the living room, Patton rushes up to Virgil's room where morality and anxiety hang out until the screaming stops.
But today the screaming seemed to hurt Patton even more. I mean, it's the holiday month! With Hunkuka, Kwanza, and Christmas! the sides haven't even been able to decorate, from Roman and Logan fighting, stopping families evenings. Patton was feeling down from hearing Logan and Roman that he trudged his way to Virgil's room.
Patton didn't knock on Virgil's door. Instead, Patton barged in, shocking Virgil, and crawled onto the anxious trait and felt his eyes start to water. Virgil was just confused about why Patton just walked in and started crying.
"What's wrong, Pop Star?" Virgil asked. Patton gave a light chuckle before sobbing into Virgil's patched hoodie. Virgil felt awkward, for not being used to having to comfort people. Honestly, Virgil felt hurt to see Patton like this.
Once Patton's sobs scaled down to a sniffle, and Patton was able to form words, Virgil asked some questions,
"Patton? What has you so worked up?" He asked. Patton shrugged.
"It's that time of the year! It's Christmas! It just hurts to see the family break into pieces around this time." Patton cried out. Virgil felt a pit in his gut that was all too familiar.
"Well, what do you wish to happen?" Virgil asked. Patton shrugged again.
"I want Roman and Logan to relax and we turn into a happy family." Patton started tearing up again, but Virgil wiped away the tears with his thumb.
"It's hurting Thomas. All the fighting, it's affecting Thomas," Patton whispered. The pit in Virgil's stomach grew to a several pound pit.
"I miss the days where it was just us slightly bickering but then it would all be resolved." Patton sobbed.
"I don't. Those are the days I wasn't accepted." Virgil whispered. Patton didn't reply, but simply started crying. Virgil knew what he had to do. He sat Patton on his bed and ran out to the quarrel downstairs.
Virgil's POV
I turned the corner of the stairs, and there were Roman and Logan, screaming over each other. I groaned at the noise that already started giving me a headache, so I did what I knew best.
"SHUT UP!" I screamed, shocking the too and quieted them down.
"What a risky move to interrupt something this important." Logan sputtered, straightening his tie. I rolled my eyes.
"Obviously it wasn't THAT important, you both stopped mid-conversation." I snapped. Logan was taken aback.
"You do realize that this is important!" Roman said, crossing his arms.
"No, it's not! It's gotten both of you nowhere, and it's not going anywhere!" I snapped. Roman pursed his lips.
"How is this argument not important?" Logan asked.
"It's stupid about what you guys are fighting about!" I said, in a matter-of-fact tone.
"Why, this isn't stupid!" Roman said.
"It's none of anyone else's business," Logan added.
"But it's affecting the other sides." I pointed out. Roman rolled his eyes,
"Why are they affected by it?" Roman asked. I felt the pit growing.
"I agree, it's simply none of their business," Logan added. I growled.
"I don't understand why you are getting in our business." Roman scoffed.
"It's simply not hurting anyone-" I cut Logan off.
"It's hurting Patton! He's upstairs crying! Do you also want to know something? IT'S HURTING THOMAS!" I screamed, pointing at an exhausted Thomas who looked defeated. The two sides stayed quiet.
"I-I didn't k-know-" Roman started.
"Of course you didn't know! You were too caught up in your own bickering to realize the pain you were giving Thomas, Patton, and even me!" I snapped. Roman softened up, and Logan stayed quiet.
"I recommend apologizing to everyone." I snapped, turning and running up to my room. I opened the door and was met with Patton pulling me into a hug. I was shocked until I gave a hug back. Patton stepped back and wiped his eyes.
"My hero." He smiled.
"Anything for you, love."
"Love?!" Patton exclaimed.
"Sorry I- uh- um-"
"Virgil relax, I found it cute." Patton giggled. I smiled. I took a step forward before Patton pulled me down into a kiss.
Well, there you go!
I hope you enjoyed this ;)
