So... explanation needed.

I was casually listening to this when I imagined

Deceit/the dark sides singing this to Virgil...

And I just had to write it.

the writing will not match the tempo of the song I'm sorryyyyyyy

Enjoy!

Also, I added two dark sides,

Laziness and Pride.

(Lyrics in bold👌 )

Third Person

Virgil sat down on his bed, staring into space. The time was slowly moving, each second feeling like a decade. Virgil was...to put it simply... really, really bored. Patton and Logan were out for groceries, even if the sides were figments of imagination that didn't need to eat, and Roman was dramatically serenading himself in the mirror in the room above Virgil. Virgil couldn't lie, Roman had a powerful and relaxing voice, but the sides had about the same voice... so Virgil didn't want to admit finding peace in his own voice. With a loud groan, Virgil flopped onto his bed, arms spread out wide and his legs still crossed, which doesn't look comfortable, but Virgil didn't care. It didn't phase him so he didn't care. Virgil closed his eyes and groaned.

Someone tapped Virgil's shoulder.

Virgil opened his eyes and nearly fell off the bed.

"Deceit?!" He screeched.

"Hello to you too," Deceit smirked, slowly waving a gloved hand.

"what do you want?" Virgil questioned. Deceit shrugged, crawling onto the bed next to Virgil.

"I miss you, dearest, I truly do."

"I miss you leaving me alone," Virgil growled. Deceit sighed, brushing my bangs out of my eye. I pulled the bangs back down.

"Oh, but darling, why don't we have a nice coversation.. you know... like old pals!" Deceit exclaimed. Virgil growled.

"I'd rather die." He spat. Deceit tensed up, his eyes flashing yellow. Virgil felt his heartbeat quicken.

"We're doing this the hard way, I see." Deceit growled. Before Virgil could question anything, Deceit snapped his fingers.

Virgil was now sitting with leather wrapped tightly around his wrist and legs. Virgil screeched as leather scraped his skin as he struggled.

"Stop struggling, darling." Deceit teased. Virgil growled, earning a quick gasp from Deceit. Virgil smirked.

"Where am I?" Virgil questioned, looking at the new scenery. The walls were tall and pure stone, reaching up for the heavens, the ceiling nowhere to be seen. A large black chandelier dangled over the two. A table sat right in front of Virgil, with Deceit sitting on the edge near Virgil.

Deceit grabbed Virgil's face, squishing his cheeks before deeply chuckling,

"You're in my world now, not your world," Deceit sang,

"You brought me to the dark palace! You're throwing off the balance Deceit-" Virgil struggled, but Deceit shushed him with his gloved index finger placed nicely on his lips.
