Patton raced up the stairs, ignoring his friends shouting at him from the living room downstairs, their angry voices faded into background noise, as all he could hear was the blood pounding in his ears and his own thoughts screaming, 'ANXIETY, ANXIETY, ANXIETY! My emo son where are you? What's going on????'

Patton's thoughts drifted back to the past events of that day, searching for anything that could have explained Anxiety's behavior. He wondered if anyone had noticed any changes in the sarcastic side's recent actions.

Patton began pondering if his fatherly tendencies were to blame, and his kiddo was too uncomfortable to tell him that he didn't like Patton's behavior, and had snapped from the pent up emotions. 'OH NO what if my dark strange son didn't love me? What if Anxiety HATED ME?'

Patton shook his head, pushing the not so nice thoughts out of his head and into his secret box of sadness. He ran past Logan's room and his own room, the plush shaggy cream carpeting pushing him along, reaching Roman's room and- 'Finally! Oh thank goodness, I found Anxiety's room!'

The joyful light side froze, an uneasy feeling filled him, a feeling of dread. He noticed a significantly darker aura coming from the purple- 'Wait- is the door black? Wasn't purple yesterday? Was it always black? Or did I just not notice? Hmmmmmm..... OH WELL!'

Patton straightened himself- or should I say gayened himself up- and tentatively knocked on the black door to Anxiety's room.

This was his kiddo.....
So why did he feel like a lamb going willingly to the slaughter?
