My alarm beeps quietly just like I had hoped. I quickly turn it off just in case anyone hears. I'm staying in my pajamas no reason to change, then change back. I push on some black slippers at the foot of my bed, then I stuff some pillows under my sheets, just in case people check on me. I am ready tonight.

The stairs creak under my tiptoeing feet. When I reach the room, I open the door slowly. Paxton, Kira, and Maya wait. Kira winks when I slowly show her my taped hands. We both smile. I take a seat next to Maya.
"What are we doing today captain?" I ask sarcastically to Paxton.
"Not funny!" He whispers. "Ok you all heard about the new kid. It's a girl." I let out a sigh, but Paxton snorts. "Another one!" He says, I laugh silently.
"Do you know her name?" I ask.
"Na, not yet. We will soon, there aren't ready to tell us." I nod but a burning sensation hurts my heart. This is wrong, taking kids. I snap out of it.
"Down to business, ok I mapped out a plan, it might work?" He shows all of us the map.
"Blah dude, what the heck, you really think we're gonna be able to take Tim out and all the guards. You got a crazy mind." Maya says sassily.
"Hey you got any ideas?" He snaps back.
"Well..."
"Yea ok so, that's it. Homework work on a plan. I'm plain sick of this crappy place!"
"We all are!" Kira says. "Don't go throwing homework at us, we're not at school!" Omg school. What have my parents said. I don't know. I may never find out.
"Fine it's optional homework. Goodnight!" We all leave, but I stay this time.
"Will we find a way out, ever?" I ask attentively.
"I don't know, I will try until I die though."
"I'm scared." I whisper, I don't know why I confessed, but I did.
"Don't worry. We'll keep you safe." I smile at him and leave.
