"Rebecca, why did you come!?" I practically screamed at her.
"Um I'm here too," I heard Davy say as he entered the lighthouse.
"Oh my god," I said, smacking my forehead, frustrated. Not just had Rebecca come during this dangerous storm, she had dragged Davy with her. "Let's just close this goddamn iron door and figure this all out."
The three of us pushed against the iron door, somehow managing to shut it despite the raging wind and rain, and I got wet in the process of doing so.
"What are those two assholes doing here?" I heard Bailey ask from behind me. I turned around and shot a glare at her, but it didn't stop her. "I think they should stay out there, and let this storm kill them since they don't seem to have gotten around to it themselves. They deserve to-"
"Bailey, shut the fuck up!" I yelled at her.
I closed my eyes for a second to both calm down a little, and prepare for whatever Caleb was about to scream at me. But he didn't. After a moment, I opened my eyes to see him smiling.
"Good job, Eleanor, I didn't think you had it in you to say bad words like that!" Caleb chided.
"That's it! I'm gonna tear you both apart!" I howled, lurching towards the two bastards that dare to stand in this lighthouse.
"Ellie, get a hold of yourself!" Davy yelled, holding me back.
"Come on, Davy! Just one punch to each of their stupid fucking faces, and a kick in Caleb's nuts!" I begged, still struggling.
"Davy, I think you should let her go. I wanna see her beat up Bailey!" Rebecca said excitedly.
"Fine," Davy growled. "I'll give you both ten seconds to run. I would suggest you skedaddle out that door."
"Okay," Bailey said, a bit afraid.
"What? No! I'm not scared of some seventeen-year-old wimp!" Caleb said.
"Explains why you aren't scared of Bailey," I snarled.
"Hey! I'm not a wimp!"
"Ten seconds is up!" Davy announced, releasing me from his grasp.
I hurled myself towards them, making a split-second decision to attack Bailey first, when I suddenly heard the door open. I halted, spinning around to see Grandpa walking through the doorway, rain dripping off his raincoat and rainhat.
"Oh, hey kids!" Grandpa said as we helped him close the door, sheilding us from the rain. Then he sighed once that was done, looking at all of us. "You two," he said, pointing to Caleb and Bailey. "What did I say about coming here?"
We all waited for their responses, but they stayed silent.
"I told you that this lighthouse isn't a place to play around with each other and that you can do that at your own houses. This is the last time I will tell you that before I go to your parents," Grandpa added.
Caleb just snickered. "You don't even know our parents."
"Yes I do, Salvin. Brettsky. So I suggest you heed my warning. I doubt they know what you two have been up to, after all," Grandpa threatened. "I have business to do, and I'll be up there. Don't bother me unless you need anything. Stay down here, please, and as soon as this storm's over, you two better get your bottoms out of here, and never bring them back."
When Grandpa was done talking, he started to climb the stairs, leaving us behind in silence.
