LILLIAN GLANCED AT HER SISTER-IN-LAW as she packed her case in a hurry.
"I don't think I can stand the look in Aunt Poll's eyes, pity. I don't want to get rid of this baby, but everybody else does." Ada admitted as she packed a case for Cardiff.
"Can you come with me? Instead of Aunt Poll."
"Ada.." Lillian trailed off.
"Please, Lil. Please."
"Alright, I'll tell her." Lillian sighed.
And so Lillian did, Polly looking over the woman warily.
"You promise you'll look after her?" Polly asked her.
"Of course I will, Poll. As if I wouldn't. I'll book an extra nights stay when we're up there, give her time."
"Alright, the trains in an hour, you can go and pack"

Polly saw Ada and Lillian off at the door, Ada clutching onto Lillian's arm, the pair holding onto a case each.
When they were far enough from prying ears, Lillian began to talk slowly to Ada.
"If you don't want to get rid of the baby, I won't make you, Ada. We can go to Cardiff, come back in a few days time and I'll take the brunt of it. Worse comes to worse, I'll find a house for you to live in, and I'll find Freddie. What im trying to say is, you have a choice, Ada. And I will respect your choice and defend your choice."
"Thank you, Lil. Really." Ada replied with a smile.
Lillians plan however, didn't need to fall into place after all.
Just as soon as the two women made it to the platform, there Freddie was, Ada pausing in her step.
"You came back" She breathed.
"I got a tip off," He smiled.
"But Tommy..." Ada trailed off.
"It was Tommy that tipped me off, maybe he's got half a heart afterall. He got a message to me, said get out of town and take her with you"
Ada couldn't break her smile as she glanced at him, almost in awe.
"So, Ada Shelby, will you marry me?" Freddie got down on one knee, with the largest grin on his face that Lillian had ever seen.
The latter, leaning against the wall with her suitcase at her feet, a smile on her face.
"Yeah," Ada nodded with a smile, "yes"
Ada was the giddiest she had ever been as Lillian pulled her into a hug, "congratulations, the pair of you"

The news travelled fast that Freddie Thorne was back, Polly greeting Lillian with a glare.
"You should've made them get on that train, Lillian. You know what Tommy will do. He won't let them rest until Freddie's out of Birmingham"
"Thomas Shelby would never harm Freddie, not as long as he wants his sister in his life. Ada's going to get married, Pol, be happy for your niece. Be happy for her, or lose her. That's all I say"
Lillian ventured into the betting shop, picking up the books she had to check.
"Lil, come and look at this. I don't know if I've done it right" arthur called her, Lillian rolling her eyes as she entered his office, standing beside him with her hand on his shoulder, glancing over the book in front of him with a laugh.
"This is definitely not right, Arth."
"Fucking hell." Arthur swore, pulling Lillian down onto his lap, a laugh escaping her lips.
"I'll teach you, don't worry."
"Yeah you bloody better." Arthur let a laugh escape his lips, Lillian turning to smile at him, placing a kiss on his lips.
