Ash and I stalked forward, our eyes and ears trained toward the smallest sounds as we neared our next two victims. Though we both needed to fight, I worried for Ash. He doesn't seem like the type to... kill. He seems too good natured and kind.

I stole a glance over at him. His eyes were filled with fear as we continued forward.. I need to protect him as much as I can.

Two large wolves appeared in our view, both were milling around, obviously bored. I quickly nipped at Ash, we both paused for a moment and glanced at each other. I gave him a quick nod and he offered a slow one. We both crept forward again before pouncing.

I gravitated toward the larger of the two, while Ash took on the smaller one. My prey was a dark oak brown wolf. I landed perfectly on his back and dug my claws in while clamping my jaw around the back of his neck. The large wolf let out a pained yelp before jumping to his feet and flipping around. He went to slam his body down but I jumped off and took the moment to jump over top of him and pin him to the ground. I lunged for his neck as I kept fighting against his flailing paws. As I fought with the wolf I felt the rage and hatred begin boiling up inside me again. A new strength came over me and I managed to keep the wolf down. It was like I could feel the strength of that mysterious wolf within me.. I felt.. stronger. I was no longer the pathetic weak wolf from before.. I was godlike, I could easily have all that I desire.

I pulled my head back and growled down at the weak beast.

See you in hell you pathetic excuse of a wolf  I snarled lowly.

The oak wolf's eyes filled with fear as I drove my canines through the skin of his neck. I sliced through like it was the soft meat of a water fowl. My inner wolf howled in delight at the taste of the warm blood pooling in our mouth and the throbbing of his vein. I took the opportunity to shake my head as I held on, wanting to enjoy every moment of this dogs loss of life.

When the heart stopped I tossed the body to the side, bored with the lack of life. I stood up tall and looked to the work of Ash. He stood still over the lifeless body of the other wolf. His whole body was splattered with the blood from my kill, and his eyes seemed to question me. I snarled at him "Why are you being such a child? We are wolves! We kill! Get used to it. "

Ash coward back, his eyes never leaving my raging ones. After a few moments of heavy panting between us he finally spoke.

Unlike you I feel remorse for killing my own kind, though they may have been harming me, I still feel guilt. Since you seem to have this all figured out I'll take my leave. I know this place more than you could ever imagine. I have seen more and experienced more. he paused looking on There should be a way out up ahead. After that we will part ways. I prefer not to associate myself with a heartless killer. With that he began walking on. I growled as I watched him. How dare he put ME down? I'm the one thinking logically right now. We only escaped because I had the balls to kill. He has no damn right!

I began padding forward after him, wanting nothing more than to tear into his flesh. A growl ripped from my throat as I watched him continue forward. Ash stopped quickly and jumped around, standing low and releasing his own vocals.

How cute.. It's like a little pup playing with his daddy.

He turned back around and continued walking on, I simply followed.

My heavy breathing was the only sound heard through our trek. My mind was erratic from the events that just took place and the raw feelings flowing through my veins. Ash was still trotting ahead, no more words had been shared between us.

The godly wolf inside me slowly left me and I was left questioning what happened.

What came over me? Why am I feeling this.. strong?
