At the Hospital. Same scenarios. Some are crying. Some are losing hope. Some are smiling. Some are laughing. But one patient caught my attention, since she was admitted here last month, I never saw her sad, crying and losing hope. She's always smiling, laughing and very friendly. Halos lahat ng tao dito sa ospital ay kilala na siya dahil sa pagiging pala-kaibigan niya.

Sa lahat ng therapy niya, hindi ko siya nakita kailan man na umiyak. Sobrang tapang niya. I admire her a lot for that. And today, I will use my break to talk to her. Kwentuhan. I really want to talk to her, nakakaaliw kasi siya. Nakausap ko na naman siya dati pero hindi matagal dahil may trabaho nga ako.

"Hi Angel." I enter her room. I really love her name. It reminds me of someone so special.

"HAII DOOCC!" kumaway pa siya saakin. "Nakainom na po ako gamot, meron pa po?"

"Wala naman. Gusto lang kita maka kwentuhan." Ngumiti ako ng makita kong lumabas ang gilagid niya sa sobrang ngiti.

"Talaga po?"

"Yes."

"Bakit naman po?"

"I never ever saw you sad. I'm curious, why?"

"Ano po yon Doc?"

"I mean, madalas ang mga pasyente dito malungkot dahil sa sakit nila, nawawalan na ng pag-asa lumaban pero ikaw, ni hindi pa kita nakitang nalungkot. Why? Bakit ang tapang mo? Sobrang tapang mo." I said.

"Kwentuhan kita Doc." Umayos siya sa pag kakaupo at ngumiti sa saakin. "Let me tell you a story about my hope, my Captain, who made me fight this war."

Hope. Captain.

"She's an author. Wattpad author. Matagal na akong reader doon bago ko siya nakilala. Maganda yung unang story niya na nabasa ko but at first, naartehan ako sa kanya HAHA kasi ayaw niya sa reader na nag cocomment sa story niya ng ibang story. Sobrang immature ko sa part na yon lol. And after finishing that story, di na ako umulit sa kanya."

She's smiling and I can see joy in her eyes.

"And at the same time that I fond out about my disease is the same time that her story 'Taste of Sky' become popular. The story is all over my newsfeed. Spoil na spoil na ako sa story, hindi ko pa man nasisimulan ay alam ko na agad ang ending. They said its sad, they said it was tragic. So I read it to be more sadder." Her eyes are now full of tears. Same as mine.

"But I didn't expect that, that story will be the reason for me to fight."

"The character of that story once said that 'Every life is worth fighting for' and that time, I asked my self, Is my life worth fighting? and then that story made me realize that 'A living life isn't worthless.' and I am worthy. There's a lot of people who wants to live more but didn't have a chance to, so why would I want to die?" Tumulo ang luha niya.

"I meet her at the saddest, worst and darkest part of my life. And she saved me. Wanting to support her become the reason for me to fight. To fight this disease. Thats why I am smilling at every process of my theraphy. Cause I believe that when I MADE IT, I will have the chance to tell her that I am thankful cause she saved me."
"Let's breath air with purpose" the author said, so I will fight this disease and will support her. I will support her till my last breath."

"Doc, she wants to be a Doctor din po, and I'm sure whe will be. Baka po someday mag kita po kayo, pakisabi po sa kanya na thank you. Thank you cause she made me fight this far."

"And if ever I WONT MAKE IT, please tell her that I did support her till the end."

Hindi ko napansin na tumulo na pala ang luha ko.

"I'm sure you will have the chance to say 'thank you' to her." I smiled and she smiled back.

"Doc Ven, tawag na po kayo sa ER." nurse called.

"Sige na, Angel. Mag pahinga ka muna. Aalis na muna ako." She smiled agaid.

"Salamat po sa pag bisita at pakikinig, Doc."

Thank you too, Angel. Thank you for supporting me. Thank you for fighting and for keeping all the lessons I told. I'm sure you will make it. I believe like how you believed. Yes, I am now a Doctor, thank you for believing. And I hope to see you in my booksigning, someday. Let the sky cross our path again.
