Something Gotta Give (BWWM 1/2)

LaLa Land

I woke up to knocks on the door.

Kaz, no where in sight.

I got up off the comfy sofa to answer the wooden front door.

"Yes." I reply to the unannounced knocks.

I open the door and see Jake standing there.

Crud I thought. I had totally forgot I was meeting with him.

"Hey Jake."

"Hey Viv you ready?"

"Can you give me ten minutes?"

" Yea. Sure." He responded.

"You wanna come in?" I asked.

"Sure."

We walked into the living room.

"You can watch t.v and stuff till I come back." I say.

He nods in response.

I go upstairs and jump in the shower.

Once I get out I put on my black underwear and bra.

Then my black Barack Obama T-shirt with blue jeans and black and white high tops.

I put my hair into a high ponytail after combing the naps out.

I slick it up with some jell and add a white head band for a final touch.

I walk downstairs with 2 mins to spare.

Jake was sitting there on the couch, watching Arrow.

I go into the kitchen and grab two grape crushes. I walk into the living area.

Jake looks up and does a double take. I smile and hand him a soda.

"Ready to go?"

                             ***

We finally make it to where ever we were suppose to be.

"Where are we?" I ask.

"At my favorite restaurant."

"Which is?" I question.

"I-Hop." He states.

"Wow why does it look so different?" I ask.

"Its Colorado different styles." He responses.

I nod my head at the thought.

                              ***

The rest of the day was really fun. It felt like time didn't matter when we were together.

It was fun, hands down. Jake has the best jokes and is sensitive towards insults. Which makes him even more likeable.

I really had fun.

                               ***
He dropped me off at: 5:45 after we were done watching the sunset. (So romantic).

I walked into the house took off my clothes and put on my shorts and tank top and went to sleep.

Lilo woke me up at 8:30 to go eat dinner. As I was getting up I spotted a yellow note paper on my table. And this is what it said:

Viv,
I really had a nice time with you. Sorry I had to leave I didn't want to wake you out of your rest. About the question I asked you earlier you can answer whenever you feel comfortable.
Anyway have sweet dreams

I smirked for him to be such a player he was really mushy and sweet.

I walked downstairs and sat down in one of the red chairs. Waiting for everyone to come down.

Once everyone was gathered we bowed our heads to pray. My uncle's deep voice gave thanks and we ate.

Aunt Mae had cooked:

String beans.

Mashed potatoes.

And Salisbury steak.

With orange and grape kool aide Lilo made.

I kept daydreaming while everyone was talking. I was like in lala land as Lilo likes to say.

We feasted and after that I went upstairs and slept. Again.

Wasn't really feeling this chapter. But I hope u guys enjoyed it!
