I called Kaz at 5:00. Well 5:10 to be exact.
"Hey beautiful."He said with a hint of excitement.
"Hey Kaz." I half whisper.
"I see you've been ignoring me.
"I wouldn't necessarily say ignoring. It was more like avoiding." I say in a knowing voice.
I could hear him smirk through the phone.
"Sure....so how is your mom?
"She's good. How's Katey?"
Katey was Kaz's 13 year old sister. Who suffered from Leukemia. She was going through boy problems right now. So Kaz asked me to give her some advice.
"Fine" He said breaking my thoughts.
"So I'm guessing you still haven't thought about it."
"Actually I did Mr. Smartypants."
He laughs. Causing a smile to form on my lips.
"Look Kaz I don't know. I mean I really like you. But im not going to answer the question until I actually see you in person."
He sighs. "Okay."
I was silent. Suddenly I hear the doorbell ring.
"Kaz Can you hold on a second?"
"Yeah."
I walk down the stairs to the door. Joyce was upstairs sleeping, while Wayne was playing video games in the living room.
"Yes?" I ask the obnoxious ringing as I open the entre.
A guy stood on my porch in a muscle black shirt with jeans. And a beanie covering his hair.
"Can I help you?" I ask the figure.
He turns around and smiles.
It was Jake......
