I had been sleeping peacefully for 2hours. When I heard pounding on my door.
I get up frantically. Half scared half sleepy. Not a good way to wake up.
I descend down the tan carpeted stairs. "I'm coming!" I yell at the door as if it was the one causing the ruckus.
I open the door for the second time today. Seeing that it was 11:00 pm. To see Jake. With a worried look on his face. An emotion that still looked good on him. The event that had occurred earlier today. Played in my mind like a record.
I scrunch my eyebrows up in as a indication of worry.
"Jake is everything OK?" I ask.
Behind him I could see that it was pouring cats and dogs. His burgundy sweat shirt. Showed specks of rain droplets.
"Vivian I have something to tell you."
My heart flipped like a fish out of water. I could confess my feelings for him right now.
" Me too. Wanna come in?" I ask.
We sit on my IKEA brown couch. That I lounge on when I'm depressed.
"So what's up?" I question in a concerned voice.
"I really don't know how to say this."
He said.
I sit on the edge of my seat as if I was watching a thrilling horror movie.
"Spit it out." I say a bit agitated by his silence.
Every second he's quiet. Is every second I want to cut his throat open exposing his esophagus.
He finally speaks after several minutes. In a confused voice he says these words:
"Jessica kissed me."
I don't remember much else after those words of deceit. I don't remember much at all.
All i know is that riht now I'm kinda happy. Where ever i am. Its a place with no heartbreaks or pain at all for that matter.
I'm in a place of serenity, tranquility, peace.......
