I hugged him tightly.

"What, Why?" I stuttered still in shock.

"I came to see you beautiful."

"But I thought you had to work."

"Nothing can stop me from seeing you." He said.

I felt like I melted and was now a puddle of chocolate on the ground.

"Kaz.... I-" I stop suddenly. I spin around to my friends that are gawking. And realize I never introduced them.

"Where are my manners?" I say sarcastically.

"Kaz these are my friends Danie, Lillie, and Jessica."

"Nice to me you ladies." He said while nodding his head at each of them in acknowledgement.

"Now since you have met. Can you please give us a minute?"

"Sure." They agreed still standing there.

"Alone." They walked away and I noticed Danie had a disapproving look on her face. But in that moment I didn't care.

Kaz chuckled.

"So have you thought about it yet?"

I laughed at his calmness and easiness toward the subject.

"Nope. How about you give me 5 days to settle in at home and then I'll give my anwser." I say sweetly.

"You're so cute." He said while brushing his finger tips over my lips.

I leaned in.

Then he did.

I quickly kiss..... his cheek.

"Did you think that with a petty complement, that click." I use my fingers to snap.

"You would've had me making out with you?"

I put my hand on his chest as he laughed. I could feel the vibration from his deep chuckle. It made me feel tingly inside.

He gasped facing me with a hurt expression.

"You thought it was petty?"

I nod and laugh.

"But anyway It sounds good to me." He said.

"Flight 57 prepare for take off." A voice on the intercom boomed.

''That's me." I say while getting up from the chair.

He put his arms around me.

"I'll miss you."

"Ditto." I say.

He looked at me.

"I.... I'll see you around." He said.

Was he about to say something else?

Was he about to say the "L" word?

After a minute I speak.

"Yeah." I say finally.

I walked away from his warmth.

God I would miss that. His warm body up against mine. Watching TV or just talking.

As I weave throughout the crowd. Trying to reach my friends, i find my mind racing a thousand miles an hour.

Thinking about the words unspoken between us. And what he really wanted to say.

And what I needed him to say.
