Home Sweet Home?

Its been 3 days since we landed in Woodridge. And already im working.
Starbucks and Panera Bread had called me as soon as I planted my feet on the ground. And already I was exhausted.

Over those three days I had cleaned the whole house and filled out applications for different colleges.
Today was the 4th day back and my phone was being blown up nonstop.

Between my Mother and friends asking how the trip was, Kaz's texts and calls, which I avoided. Because I didn't have an answer for him yet and I didn't want to lead him on, if I didn't even know how I was feeling.

I mean I like him but was I really up for a relationship? And besides I was thinking about what Danie said about Jake. What if I really did like him?

I honestly don't think he sees me in that way. And i would be getting my hopes of up for them to be crushed. But if he did, then the question is why wasn't he acting like it? I guess you could say I was in a rock and a hard place. I was stuck between choices that could have drastic changes

"Uhh." I let out a relieved breath as I pulled into the drive way of my brown and burgundy house. Well my mother's house.

I step into the hallway, closing the door behind me.

"Joyce get your butt down here!" I shout through the house looking for my younger sibling.

The house was practically empty since Kaydence had piano practice and Hayleigh dance.

While Wade was at basketball.

Joyce was the only one who didn't have anything today.

"Joyce?" I question.

I look through all the doors of every room and find her in the bathroom,

with a bunch of pills in her hand.
