Jake's POV

So I was at my grandparents house cleaning up. One of the many reasons why they love me to be over. When they told me I had to watch my aunt's and uncle's kids.

Because they where going out for a adult "dinner".

They came barging through the door at 6:00 in the afternoon.

"Jake!" My little cousin Daisy shouted from the front door.

"Daisy!" Shouted back. I picked her up and placed her over my shoulders.

"How's my favorite 4 year old doing?"

"Rockin!" She said while holding up a "rock star" sign.

I chuckled and put her down on the sofa. I saw Joceliyn 12, Felicity (Felicia) 9,

Tomas 14, and James 7, walking down the hallway.

"Jake." Tomas, and James shout.

"Whats up." I say to them.

We do our handshakes and I turn to the girls.

"What's hanging?" I ask. Using the term we use around each other when our grandparents aren't around.

Joceliyn smiles and waves. Felicia smiles and hugs me.

"I missed you so much Jake."

"Ditto." I respond.

I grab Zak from my Aunt Sam.

I thought about calling Vivian to hang out with the kids and me.

I decided against it.

30 mins later I called her because it was hectic. The kids kept bugging me when I was changing Zak's pamper. Etc.

Vivian: Hello?

Me: Vivian I wanted to know if you could come over. I have my cousins over and uhhh well I need some help. Its crazy over here and I really need you right now.

There was a pause.

Vivian: I would be glad too.

She said.

I gave her the directions to my grandparents house.

She was here in 12 mins, I counted.

"Hey." She said as I opened the door.

"Hey." I said looking over her outfit.

She was wearing jogging pants and a Bob Marley t-shirt with hightops.

I gestured for het to come in.

She walked in.

"Kids." I shout as we walk into the dinning room.

They came from everywhere upstairs, the kitchen, the bathroom. Etc.

"I want you guys to meet my friend Vivian."

"Hi." They shout.

She smiles her dazzling smile.

"Vivian this is..... Daisy she's 4."

I say while pointing to my red haired cousin.

"Joceliyn she's 12." I point to my dark haired cousin.

"James 7 and Tomas 14." I said looking at my identical brown haired cousins who looked alot like me.

"And Felicia." I said pointing to my cousin with dark hair.

"And Zak's upstairs sleep." I say.

"Its a pleasure to meet you all." She said.

I look at her and we lock eyes. We stand there for a min.

"So what do you guys want to eat?" She asked breaking the trance.

That got everyones attention.

"Mac and cheese! Pizza! Chicken! Grapes! Chocolate!" They all shout at once.

"So you want Macaroni and Bar-B-Q chicken pizza with grapes as an appetizer and chocatlate candy bars for dessert?" She asked.

"Yes " They all agreed.

They broke out then.

"Wow that was amazing." I say.

"Well I have younger siblings too." She says.

"I'll call the pizza place see if they have some pizza like what they want."

I nod. "Okay."

At that moment Zak starts to whine.

"I got him." Viv says.

"You can grab some games for Felicia and Daisy to play with." I nod.

She walks upstairs and turns around.

"Could you tell Tomas to get me a warm bottle for Zak?"

"Yea."

"Thanks."

Once she's upstairs I do like she asks.

7 mins later I'm bringing up the bottle and hear: Nothing. I walk in and see Zak in Vivian's arms asleep and she's rocking side to side with him.

As I get closer I hear her singing Amnesia by 5sos.

She looks up;

"Kinda late don't you think?" She questions looking at me.

She places Zak in his bed and carefully grabs the bottle from me.

She smirks.

"Thank you."

We move out of the room.

"I called them and the pizza should be here in 10 mins. By then we need to have tired out Daisy and Felicia and given them a shower."

I smile this was so much easier with her I thought.

It was 9:00 when we finished and all the kids were sleep.

Thank God.

"Thanks again Vivian."

I say as we sit on the couch.

"It was nothing it was good I got practice for my new sibling coming." She speaks.

I shake my head.

"Practice makes perfect after all." We have a laugh.

Thirty minutes later Vivian's in her car driving away from the house.

I make sure to remind her to text me when she gets home. I sit down in the arm chair.

My muscles began to relax.

And guess what, just as I start to nod off, Zak does the worst thing he could do, he starts to cry, again.
