10. Christmas part 1

''Time for breakfast'' Marley woke Kara up. Kara opened her eyes. ''Merry Christmas'' Marley smiled. ''Merry Christmas'' Kara said sleepy. ''Are you coming?'' 

''Gimme a sec'' Kara said. She dressed up and washed her face. ''Wow, this looks amazing!'' Kara said as she entered the kitchen. Millie and Marley had done their best to make it perfect, and it was. ''We wanted to make this Christmas special'' Millie smiled. ''It's pretty early'' Kara yawned. ''Yeah, school usually starts early'' Marley smiled and sat down. ''School?''

''Yeah, we have to leave in 45 minutes'' Millie said and gave Kara a glass of milk. ''We have school... on Christmas?!'' Kara used to have a day off. ''Didn't you have it on your last school?'' Marley asked. ''Uhm, no, we used to have a day off on Christmas'' Kara said as they started eating.

Breakfast was delicious. Kara and Marley walked through the hallways of McKinley High. Principal Figgins had decorated it nice, with a lot of lights. ''I'm lucky to be here at Christmas'' Kara sighed. ''Yeah, you could have been suspended for hitting that douchebag'' Marley smiled as she opened her locker. ''Are you ready to perform for Glee Club?'' Kara asked. ''After Regionals last week, we can do anything'' Marley smiled. ''Yeah, you actually won. I had not expected that'' Bree stood behind them. ''What do you want Bree?'' Kara asked. ''I need to talk to the fatty. Those were nice rumours of you on the internet a few weeks ago. Everyone knows, I wonder who came up with that idea'' Bree smirked. ''You started that? How did you know?'' Kara asked. ''Something called eavesdropping'' she sighed disappointed, ''now let me talk to this loser.'' Kara walked away after Marley nodded it was okay.

30 minutes later Kara heard music coming from the auditorium. She walked to it, wondering what was going on. As she arrived and looked at the stage she saw Marley. She was singing 'Wrecking Ball' in tears. Kara ran to stage and climbed on it. As she stopped singing Kara asked: ''What happened?''

''I should have known'' Marley cried as she hugged Kara. ''What?'' Kara didn't know what she meant. ''Jake, h-he cheated on me'' she cried.

''How could you!'' Kara said loud. She didn't care what others thought. She slammed his locker in his face. ''What are you talking about?'' Jake said, walking away from Kara. ''Oh, you already forgot? Well let me tell you this: you have no soul. You broke her'' Kara hit his shoulder. ''Ah, why would you do that? You better didn't break my shoulder'' Jake grabbed his shoulder in pain. ''Well, I broke it, just like you broke Marley's heart'' Kara said walking away.

''Are you sure you can do this?'' Kara asked worried. ''Yes. It is Christmas, I won't let any boy ruin the holidays. I'll forget it for a moment'' Marley sighed and stood up from the bench they were sitting on. ''Then let's show them what we've got'' Kara smiled as they walked to the Choir Room.
