Part 12~Fighting back

I let off a small sigh as I curled into a small ball. “We could try fighting but we are at a disadvantage,” I mumbled quietly as Chi hugged me.

•Izu, I might not be out there, but give me the word and I’ll use my quirk,• Sora told me as I smiled.

•I know Sora.• I hopped up and looked across the lake. I pulled up my mask as I spoke clearly, “Koi, Mei, can you hear me? Sora is out, Zama, Chi, Jack and I are on the shipwreck with Tsu and Mineta. Do you copy?”

Silence fell over the comms as we hoped for a response.

“Izu, we can hear you!” I smiled at the faint voice of my sister. “It’s faint but we hear you. We are in the landslide zone with Todoroki and Hagakure. One of the villains admitted that they were here for All Might. The Nomu is going to kill him, some kind of experiment.”

I shared a small look with Zama as I sighed, “I’ve met the Nomu, it almost knocked out Zama,” I explained sadly.

“We need to get everyone out, any plans?” Koi asked as I shook my head.

“None at the moment. For now we should try to meet up,” I mumbled as I heard a hum of agreement.

“We’ll meet you on the cost facing the stairs,” Mei finished before cutting off her line, Koi doing the same.

I lowered my mask as the others copied me.

“Tsu, Mineta, we need to get out of here,” Zama ordered as he stood up.

“What?! Are you crazy?! We should just wait until a hero rescues us!” Mineta screamed loudly while in a panicked state.

“Listen here, you purple f**ker! My siblings are out there and we are not leaving them to die!” Jack screamed as he slammed Mineta against the wall.

“Calm down, ribbit. I’m sure your siblings can survive without you but right now we are the ones in the danger zone,” Tsu stated as Jack growled at her.

“She’s right, Jack. Mei and Koi might not be as powerful as you but remember it because of Mei we survived that first year. Trust her she’ll get us all out of this,” Chi calmed as Jack released Mineta.

“Why aren’t they attacking…?” I mumbled while staring at the water.

“They could fear our quirks,” Zama suggested as I nodded.

“Right, so let’s use it.” I hopped up, once again, as I searched my pockets.

“What’s the plan, Nii-Chan?” Chi asked as I smiled at him.

“Do you remember AR?” I asked as I continued to search my pockets.

“Of course I do!” Chi exclaimed as Zama, Tsu and Mineta gave us weird looks.

“What or who is AR?” Zama asked as Jack rolled his eyes.

“It’s the stupid water robot, remember?” Jack snapped sarcastically as Zama got even more confused.

“Jack, Zama came after AR, he never met AR,” I explained while laughing. “AR would take water, even the most impure and poisonous, and make it drinkable.”

“Ribbit, why would you need a robot to purify your water?” Tsu asked as my smile faulted slightly.

“That is unimportant,” I quickly stated before finding the little robot I had been looking for. “What is important is that he has a reverse mode.”

I flicked a switch on AR’s back before dropping him into the water. It didn’t take long before the water started to turn black.

The villains all tried to stop the black substance from coming towards them, but in failing all retreated to the soar and away from the poisonous liquid.
