Behind a smile

Part 7~Hero training

So far nothing interesting had happened so we were just waiting for class to restart.

“I am coming through the door like a normal person!” All Might screamed loudly causing me to flinch badly but luckily no one noticed.

•Oh, f**k no! No another overly loud teacher!• Jack complained as the class cheered.

•Chill out Jack this is All Might! The number one hero!• Mei screamed happily as I smiled weakly.

•I don’t care if he is number one hero or not, I care about our ears!• Jack snapped back as I giggled catching the last part of All Might’s speech.

“But all heroes have to look good!” He pressed a button showing our costumes boxes.

I quickly grabbed ours and left the room.

Unfouratanlly the rest of the class didn’t get lost this time and a few had made their way into the changing room already.

Sighing I went to the back and quickly change my clothes.

“Woah dude, are you okay?!” A boy with spikey red hair asked me as I backed away.

“Yeah… I just… It was just a bad costumer and… a clumsy brother…” I mumbled knowing we had a bad bruise on our shoulder.

“Costumers?” He asked as I turned to face him. His eyes were filled with confusion and worry as he studied us.

“We… we run a café… sometimes people can be bad and… and we have to remove them…” I mumbled remembering a break up gone bad. Sighing I gave him a small smile. “Don’t… don’t worry, we’ve been through worse.” I stated as he grabbed our hand.

I was about to push him off when he spoke, “Is that were the scars come from?” He asked as tears watered my eyes. I didn’t like thinking about the scars, I always forgot they were there. “Oh, I’m sorry. I’m just worried about you.” He told me as I shook my head sadly.

“It... it doesn’t matter… that was years ago…” I stated as I continued to get changed not saying another thing as my siblings comforted me.

We quickly finished getting ready as I beamed happily.

My costume was mainly basic, it was a simple tracksuit with hood. It was black and green and, in honour of Yawara and Ryuko, it had cat ears. We had a black mask with a smile sticking out it tongue printed on it. Inside was a closed radio system for us to use. Finally on the back a zero was printed.

We quickly played around with our costume as we made sure everything was working.

“Wow Koimei, your costume is so cool!” Uraraka gasped as my siblings groaned.

“Thank you… but… please call us Midoriya…” I told her for the tenth time.

“I really wish I had been more specific with mine, it’s a bit tight.” She stated ignoring my beg.

“Do… do you want to change it…?” I asked as she shook her head.

“I’m sure they know what they are doing!” She stated as I nodded.

All Might started talking as he explained what we were going to do. Naturally Koi started to research everything he could as we waited.

All Might drew each team slowly as we ended in the last team, meaning we were alone, or at least in their eyes we were.

All Might picked the teams we would fight as we already started to talk strategy.

We were against Bakugo, the ash blond Jack threatened on our first day, and Iida. We were the villains.
