I was sitting at my desk while looking over the offers. Despite not having actually taken part in the sports festival, it seems my siblings little display caught the attention of almost every agency, which was a plain to sort through. Yao-momo didn't seem to be having the same problem and I could tell it was hurting her, not that I really knew why.
Attempting to get my siblings to agree on one hero was almost imposible. Chi wanted to go to a hero who had mind controlling abilities or who could sneak around. Jack wanted someone from the higher ranks and who was a 'worthy sparring partner'. Zama wanted someone who could use their quirk unexpectedly and a thousand different ways and someone who didn't have poor living style. Sora wanted someone who could inspire him to think of new ways to change the world in their favor who wouldn't do the same thing every night. Koi wanted someone who wasn't dumb and would annoy him as well as having a high techinque ability. Mei wanted someone who would see each individually instead of one person and who could help her make better resistance. I wanted someone who could show me a different style of fighting.
After many days of arguing, giving me many headaches, we finally settled on Edgeshot.. He could help Chi sneak around, he is number 5 in the league, Do to the way the body works depending on what he does it could have different effects like Zama wanted, and good living style. His abilities could inspire Sora and I doubt he would do the same every night. His technique is an A for Koi, and his logical way of thinking would see the most efficient way to teach us, is separately.
I was the only one who missed out as he wasn't a strength hero but we weren't going to find anyone else in the time left and it could be fun to learn techniques of a speed hero.
Yao-momo was going with Uwabami and I could tell that wasn't going to end well.
I finally gave my sheet to Aizawa before walking out with Momo and Kaminari in tow.
Soon they would start and me and my siblings will drive a new hero crazy.
We were waiting by the train station. I quickly gave a goodbye to Momo and Kaminari and gave a worried look to Iida before turning away.
I could tell Chi was excited to meet a new hero in person. Jack seemed to be excited to but was trying to hide it. Sora was humming in the background while Koi searched up everything on Edgeshot he could. Zama on the other hand was in control and staring at some of the food he had prepared almost as if he was daring them to try and jump onto the floor. I was with Mei in the back room while playing a game.
Zama suddenly stood up as our stop came up. We exited and walked up to the agency. We didn't really play much attention to the others in the space. Zama walked up to the front desk before talking to the receptionist, "Excuse me, mame, I am Hazama Midroiya also known as Izuku, I have come here for my internship. Could you tell me where I am going?"
"Of course," the lady brought out a floor plan before circling the room we had to head towards.
We thanked her before walking off to the room. Edgeshot was standing in the middle giving us a disapproving look. "You are late, come on we should get going."
Zama nodded as we followed him to a training room, leaving Zama's treats on his desk.
"I am not on duty today so you will be training today. Tomorrow we have surveillance duty so you better be up to scratch by then."
Good to see he is not putting pressure on us, huh? I let out a laugh at Mei's comment while nodding.
Edgeshot turned to face us expectantly, "well get changed."
Zama nodded as we went to the back room and put on our outfit. I took over as we walked out to the front.
"Come," Edgeshot motioned for us to follow him.
"Are... are we going... going to be allowed... allowed to split...?" I asked shyly while stuttering.
"Split?" Edgeshot gave us a weird look as I ducked my head.
"My siblings... siblings and I need... need to split in order.... in order to fight..." I fidgeted with my costume while keeping avoiding his gaze.
"If you fight like that then split," Edgeshot answered simply, not quite understanding what we meant.
I decided not to say anything else as we followed him. He led us to a training room. The space was filled with other heroes, most from nearby agencies. Guess the number five hero had better training facilities than the rest.
He led us to the back and showed us a small number of weights, punching bags and training equipment.
"You shall train alongside my normal reteen. Don't fail," Edgeshot said before going to the bicycle.
Sighing, as he clearly didn't understand, we split, Each of us took a different station.
Edgeshot didn't say anything as we silently worked. I went to the bicycles, Jack was on the punching bags, Mei did step ups, Chi was doing stretches, Zama was using some weights, Sora was doing pull ups and sit ups and finally Koi was using the cross-trainer.
It wasn't that bad. He didn't really challenge us as I think he wasn't quite sure how to train seven people at the same time, especially when Jack and Koi refused to listen and Chi was getting distracted every two minutes.
He seemed to be impressed, not having expected us to be able to do much, as I was still in recovery. By the end of the day, I was dead, Koi wasn't any better. The others were a bit better but Sora was getting slightly annoyed with the purely physical work out. He seemed to have formed a plan, which he wasn't telling us.
I hope he doesn't get us in any trouble.
