Izuku is a lively boy, he enjoys playing with his friends and learning. He loves heroes, especially All Might and he is quick to forgive and understand. He has a natural intelligence, perfect pitch and a hand that can draw as good as the adults. Everyone believes he can do anything and that when he gets his quirk he will be a powerful hero.

That is what everyone says.

~Izuku POV~

I was four when it happened. It was the day when Kacchan got his quirk. He had been showing it off, as to be expected, it was the happiest I've seen him.

"Come on Deku, I want to show my mum and Auntie Inko my quirk!" He shouted at me, running ahead. Kacchan called me Deku as a way to say 'give it your all!' He was really supportive.

"Yeah I'm coming, Kacchan!" I cheered as I ran to catch up with him.

"Mummy! Auntie Mitsuki!" I shouted running up to them.

"Mum! Auntie Inko, I got my quirk!" Kacchan exclaimed joyfully letting off small explosions to show them.

"Cool, guess we better get you to the doctors then!" Auntie Mitsuki started to drag Kacchan away, who was exclaiming that he would be the best hero.

"Bye Kacchan!" I shouted while waving happily.

"Come on we should go home." Mummy held out her hand for me as we left to go.

I was happily ranting about what we had learnt when a loud crash sounded.

I was frozen in place as I felt arms wrap around me.

It couldn't recognise anything happening around me, it was just; red and blue.

Those colours flashed in my face as people crowded me.

They were talking to me but I couldn't hear them.

"Mummy." I called out, but no one answered.

"Izuku." I saw daddy standing a bit away from me.

I ran up to him, pulling him into a hug as I cried into his stomach.

He smelt weird.

He didn't hug me back as he pushed me away.

"Daddy?" I asked confused.

"Let’s go." He sounded angry; did I do something wrong?

We got in his car and he drove me home.

Arriving, he got out of the car, grabbing my arm he dragged me into our house. He chucked me in the living room as he got something from the fridge. Was he getting me dinner?

When he returned he had a bottle in one of his hands and a packet of five in his other. Dumping them by his chair he started to drink the liquid.

"Daddy? Daddy I'm hungry, can I have some food please?" I asked shyly; daddy never acted like this.

He finished his first bottle before turning to me. "If you're hungry get it yourself." He spat harshly.
