Chapter 17

Day- 13

Sarah

I stayed at the hospital overnight and I slept in that uncomfortable chair near ashton and I wasnt leaving. The doctors came in the morning and talked to me about ashton.

He was done with all his surgeries and he just needed time to heal. He broke his right leg and broke his right arm, dislocated his shoulder and more. 

I still didnt know what i was going to do, Calum and I are leaving tomorrow. Ashton still hadnt woken up and everyone except calum went back to the house last night to sleep.

 They showed up around 10:30 with board games and stuff we could do while we stayed with ashton all day.

Ashton had one of those rooms with a bathroom so I didnt even have to leave his side.

I hadn't eaten in awhile but I didnt want too unless I knew he was alright. 

Michael brought the game operation because he thought it was appropriate since we were in a hospital and i just laughed at him.

We played operation and I won, Michael couldn't do it for shit which made me laugh. It felt good to laugh since the past 24 hours i've done nothing but cry.

Reina, Brooke, Luke and Aur played the game sorry which I had never played but my family used to when I was in middle school.

Kylie joined in on our operation game and calum didnt play any games. Calum just sat in the chair in the corner just looking blankly before him, he'd glance at me every once in a while. We played the same game for two hours because it was so fun and I didnt get bored.

I took the little tweezers thing and went to go grab the booger thing that was in the guys nostril. I heard movement come from behind me but I ignored I assumed it was just luke. I was not about to break my concentration.

"sarah" someone said. I turned around to see who called my name and I heard the buzzer from the game go off as I looked at aur who had called me. Aur was pointing at the bed and I looked ashton whos eyes were slowly opening and he was looking around confused. 

 I dropped everything I was holding and rushed over sitting in the chair that I was in all night.

"sarah?" ashton asked looking around. 

"I'm here" I said grabbing his hand.

"What happened?" he asked.

"you were in a car accident, but dont worry its alright. You're going to be okay." I said with a tear of happiness rolling down my cheek. The doctor told me if he woke up then he would be fine and everything would be good, his memory was there so he was alright, which made me overly happy.

"oh yeah, I remember now" He said, he moved trying to reposition himself to sit up. He groaned in pain but didnt stop and he sat up. 

Ashton

It hurt, everywhere. I had never felt this much pain in my life.

My memory of what had happened was coming back slowly. I loved seeing sarah happy though, she hadnt stopped smiling since I woke up.

Kylie whispered to calum, he furrowed his eyebrows and looked at sarah, she still kept that smile on her face. 

He got up and walked out with kylie and they went somewhere we couldnt see. The doctor came and asked everyone to leave so she could talk to me. Everyone got up slowly and walked out but Sarah held my hand and just looked at the doctor, the doctor dismissed it.

Sarah

She introdouced her self as doctor Robbins and explained how he could go home tomorrow but he couldnt do anything really besides rest and let his wounds heal.

I still wasnt sure what I was going to do about school and whatever but I didnt think about that, I just wanted to make sure ashton was okay.

 The doctor checked up on him and made sure his breaks were doing fine. Everyone filed back into the room one by one and then gathered around ashton.

"sarah" Calum called and I turned my head looking at him. He nodded towards the door and I smiled at ashton. I got up out of the chair and kissed ashton, my legs became cold as I stood up because i had been sitting in the same spot for 24 hours.

I walked out into the hallway with calum, he stopped and I turned towards him. He shook his head no and pulled me further away from ashton's room. He kept walking pulling my arm dragging me behind him, and then stopeed positioning me a few feet in front of him. 

He paced back and forth rubbing his hands through his hair whispering "oh god" over and over again. 

"what? whats wrong?" I asked confused, still watching him pace back and forth.

"she left" calum said, still hadn't stopped pacing.

"she what? who?" I asked.

"Kylie, she left shes gone" He said, he stopped pacing and bent his knees so he was close to the ground. He started rubbing his hands on his face, I sat down on the floor criss-cross applesauce and looked at calum.

"what do you mean?" I asked. 

"she pulled me out into the hallway" he said taking a short breathe before each word. "she said, 'i cant do this anymore and walked away leaving me."

"this doesnt make any sense" I said furrowing my eyebrows and shaking my head. 

Calum stood up and I stood up after him. I just hugged him and he started sobbing softly into my shoulder. He had to lean his head down to reach my shoulder since he was so much taller then me.

"you're kidding" Reina screamed in shock.

"she just left?" Aur asked.

I nodded head and they both got a disgusted look on their face. The girls and I were sitting on the floor of the bathroom in a small circle. I had just told them about kylie and we were all mad and confused.

"I'm calling her" I said pulling my phone out of my pocket and pulled up the contact 'kylie' with a bunch of heart eyes.

It rung three or four times and then she answered.

"hello?" she answered like she had no idea who it was.

"where are you?" I asked.

"I'm going home." She said.

"what do you mean you're going home? you just got up and left with out telling anyone." I asked getting angrier.

"I thought meeting you guys would be amazing and everything I ever wanted, but its not. Im not inlove with calum and I dont like you guys." She explained with no emotion in her voice, it was just monotone.

I sat there speachless, what do you say to something like that? 

Aur grabbed the phone out of my hand and screamed 'bitch' then hung up. We all just sat there staring at each other, not really knowing what to say. I wasn't sure if I was mad or sad about what just happened, four years. We were friends for four years.

"no, no" I said shaking my head back and forth. 

"We are here for ashton. Kylie is a bitch that we wasted our time on but its over now and we're going to go visit ashton, like we came here to do" I said standing up and walking towards the door. I opened the door and walked back to ashtons room.

All the guys were gathered around ashton talking about us girls because when I came in with the three girls following behind me they all got quiet.

Calum was sitting in the seat I was in and he got up so I could sit back down. We played go fish with ashton which took awhile since there were so many people. 

We stayed there all night all of us together, it couldn't have been a greater last night.

A/n: sorry I havent updated in a while I've been busy and i had to remove another character (kylie) sorry about that, it wasn't planned. but yeah thanks for reading ily -s
