chapter 21

Calum

and it was just that, she said that to me and my heart broke. she's lying, she has to be lying, I mean come on its Sarah and I. It's just I can't believe after all this time she doesn't feel the same way. I felt the tears that I had been fighting to hold in roll down my cheeks as I backed away from her, shook my head at her and walked away.

I would do anything to have her, I went home and I didn't know what to do with myself. my parents weren't home and I'm just going to be all alone again. I don't want to be alone.

I pulled up to my driveway contemplating what I wanted to do with myself. my mind went to nothing and I stared blankly at the basketball hoop at the top of my driveway.

I got out of my car, slammed the door shut and leaned against it with my head in my hands and I began to sob again.

I pulled myself together quickly and wiped the tears away and walked into my house with the plan of just playing video games and going to bed. I walked into my house shutting the door and locking it behind me and turned around to see a long brown haired girl sitting on my living room couch.

she got up and turned around "grace??" I said furrowing my eyebrows and just staring at her.

"Hi calum, long time no see" she smirked at me.

I walked over the the living room area and just stared blankly at her, "what??? how did you even get in?" I asked her.

"Calum, I want you." she said.

"Grace I don't even know what your doing here, it's been a year since we've broken up. I've moved on, so can you."

She stepped closer to me and got inches away from my face

"You left the door unlocked also I know calum but I've been thinking about you lately and you know, you and I we had something special. " she said to me as she ran her fingers through my hair.

"Just give me another chance calum" she said.

I looked into her eyes and tried to feel the connection I felt before, but I felt nothing. but I wanted to, I wanted to feel something so bad.

I grabbed her face in my hands and kissed her. It began getting heated and I pulled her shirt off and she pulled off mine and we ended up in my bed, you know.

I finished and she laid down next to me, she told me how good it was multiple times and I just laid there staring at the ceiling, I didn't feel anything.

she left eventually and told me we should do this again soon and to think over giving her another chance. I wouldn't, I didn't want anyone but Sarah.

I played video games for a little bit and then I hoarded my kitchen for something to eat, I ended up eating some old Fritos and then went to bed.

I went to school the next day and around lunchtime is looked around to see if Sarah was anywhere to be found, she wasn't. I figured maybe she was skipping school so she didn't have to see me or something, who knows. I finished school and went home and played video games just like yesterday. then there was a knock at my door, I ignored it but they kept knocking so I got up and went to the door I opened it and Michael and luke were standing in the doorway.

"It's about time mate I've been standing out there for like two hours" luke said letting himself in.

"Our schools already out even though you guys don't get out for a couple more weeks so we'd figure we'd crash here, we would have came with ash but you know he's all messed up still." Michael said as he joined luke on the couch.

"What's this?" Luke asked gesturing to the video game.

"Fifa" I replied as I plopped down next to luke on the couch.

"Listen mate I thought you'd be a lot happier to see us but your really bumming me out, what's up?" He asked me.

"Nothing" I said and then I smiled at him and went and picked up two remotes for them and then we played all night.

Sarah

"Can you guys just come please and keep him company while I go surprise Ashton." I said to luke on the phone.

"He's gonna be all alone and I don't want that just stay with him and keep him company I sleep over there alll the time, his parents are never home" I said trying to convince them.

"Alright" luke said.

"We'll come and stay with him" luke said.

"Alright cool, see you guys soon"I said and then I hung up and looked around. I was sitting in the airport parking lot, I had gotten there way too early and I was just waiting for a decent time to go inside and and check my luggage and all that. I talked to my teachers and they are letting me finish some of my homework online so I can go spend some time with Ashton, I'll be back for graduation though and all that I just needed sometime to get away from calum and be with the one i love.

I didn't know if I should tell calum where I was going or whatever, we're not really on speaking terms right now, I guess if he cares that much then he'll ask luke and mikey since they know what's going on. I don't know I shouldn't be so worried about him.

I looked at the clock and decided it was enough time to go get my stuff checked and get on my flight.

I did all the crap I needed to do and then boarded my flight in just enough time. Then I began the long flight that would finally bring me to see my love again.
