As the morning came, Chloe awoke with the sun shinning into her room. Following the same routine she rolled over and checked her phone. 9:40. She'd missed breakfast.

After a long shower Chloe began to dry off and apply sun cream to avoid leaving stains on her bathing suit. She walked around her room naked as she searched for another bikini. This time grabbing a red piece, similar design to the one from last night. She pulled the bottoms over her hips to highlight her curves, giving it that classic V shape. Her hair was curled up in a bun, a few strands falling free at the front.

Slipping in her flip flops, she grabbed a towel and made her way to the poolside, her headphones playing classic summer songs into her ears.

Once she found a bed she text simon to ask if he was up, no response. She decided to wait until they were up before knocking on their doors, not that she could remember their room numbers anyway.

As Chloe laid on the White sun bed, she thought of Harry and the kiss they shared. Even the image in her head sent flutters through her body, causing her to shiver in the heat. She knew it was wrong to think about a friend like this, but the kiss felt so right. She could only hope he was was thinking the same thing to hide her from rejection. No one wants to be a regret.

Chloe let the music take her away as she stretched her arms above her head, pulling one knee up, gaining a curve under her back as she stretched. Over an hour had passed now making it 11am. Chloes skin felt hot to touch, meaning it was time to for a drink and five minutes in the shade.

Approaching the bar Chloe felt the cooler footsteps in the shadows, almost jumping from spot to spot in joy.

"Can I get a lemonade please." Chloe smiled, received with a nod soon followed by a sparkling lemonade with real lemon slices floating with the ice. Chloe made her way away from the bar, just close enough to the sun to feel the heat.

"Hey." A unknown voice started. Chloe turn to see a very tan and very muscular man standing besides her. "Oh hey." Chloe mumbled as she returned her sight to the pool area not giving the new company much notice.

"Haven't seen you around the pool before." He stared.

"I got here last night." Chloe added, disinterest clear in her voice.

"I thought I'd recognise someone like you." He flattered, even Chloe couldn't deny the small smile on her face from such a big compliment.

"Thanks." Chloe laughed.

"I'm jack."

"Chloe."

"Do you smoke chloe?" He asked.

"No." She muttered.

"Well any chance I'll catch you later." He said edging away.

"Maybe." Chloe flirted a little before remembering last night.

Chloe returned to her bed, catching sight of jack across the pool, along with his 4 other identical looking friends. Jack was nothing like chloes type, she couldn't stand the try hard look. The tan was nice but the muscles, she just didn't have the time for them.

Another hour had past, chloes stomach beginning to call for food. She checked her phone one last time before heading off to lunch. No response.

Harry rolled over in his bed, the light almost blinding. "Ethan." He mumbled as he rubbed his eyes. Ethan dead to the world, spread out in his double bed.

Checking the time Harry sighed, unfortunately missing the highlight of the day - a Spanish breakfast. He slowly crept out of bed and waddled to the bathroom to relieve his full bladder. Following a shower, Harry felt ready for the day. Pulling on some black swim shorts, he overlapped with a pink sidemen top.

He grabbed his phone and key card as he headed out the room. His sliders hitting the floor as he walked. He wondered who was up, not remembering their room numbers.

Chloe walked into the hotel restaurant for her first meal in the new country, too long to go without a meal. Suddenly her phone buzzed.

You've been added to a group chat

Chloe opened her phone as she studied the members, realising it was a holiday groupchat, a smart move.

The first response was from Harry, letting Chloe know he was up.

If anyone is up yet please reply. I don't know your room numbers so I'm heading down for lunch without you.

Chloe smiled at the thought of having lunch with Harry, for a moment before the reality hit. What if Harry did regret last night. Would it be awkward?

Chloe didn't have time to think before she heard a voice. "Chloe!"

Chloe turned to see Harry walking into the restaurant, maybe Chloe shouldn't have lingered around the entrance while she read the messages.

"Harry, I was just reading the groupchat." She said trying to avoid the fact she was thinking of avoiding him.

"I'm starving." Harry moaned as he rubbed his stomach.

"Me too." Chloe sighed with relief that it wasn't awkward between them. If anything it was calm, maybe too calm for what happened the night before.

"Right well let's get some food then." Harry smiled as they walked together picking out food from the buffet.
