I feel someone shaking me as my eyes flutter open. Felicia is staring me right in my face. "Good morning sleepy head," She says sweetly with a cheerful smile. I look around and see I must have fallen asleep on the couch. I sit up and watch her walk to the kitchen in a big oversized t-shirt, and that's it. He hair is still in a massive ponytail on top of her head.

"Where'd you go last night?" I ask. It was a usual question I asked her everyday, but the tone is different now. I hear myself not really question where but weather or not she's gonna lie about it. She sticks a spoon full of peanut butter in her mouth and slowly glides it out with a shrug.

"You know the usual spots. Clubs, bars, ya know? You'd probably have a lot of fun if you'd go with me once and awhile," She says eating more peanut butter. "Remember how much fun we used to have at parties?"

"I'm sure," I say dryly.

"You sound sarcastic," she states. "You would have fun. Tons of drinks, and tons of hot guys. We'd be like," she thinks for a second.

"Two kittens on the prowl?" I question more seeing if the cat theme would get her to break. She seems to light up at my sentence, not what I expected.

"Yesssss!" She drags this out almost hissing to go with what she seems to think is a joke. I roll my eyes, and turn on the tv where the news is doing a story about the missing painting from MOMA. This must be what they were talking about last night. Spider-Man gets brought up. "What do you think of Spider-Man?" I hear Felicia ask from the kitchen. I shrug as she trots in holding some scrambled eggs.

"He's alright, why do you ask?"

"I just never hear you talk about superheroes. Wanted to know your hot take on them," She says eating some eggs.

"They were a big deal in Queens," I explain. "I mean not that it wasn't brought up in our school, but I don't know I try to avoid the subject. I just find it hard to believe that the only Avenger still around is Spider-Man. He seems kind of dim don't you think?" Felicia shrugs. She must have been so quick cause she's back in the kitchen washing off her plate by time I'm ready to say something else.

"I think Spider-Man is noble. He could do the world a lot of good. I just think he didn't and still doesn't get the proper trainer. He's grown a lot though," she explains simply. I furrow my eyebrow.

"How do you know that?"

"Intuition," She states simply skipping over to her bedroom. "I'm gonna take a little cat nap. Don't bother waking me," she says with a sly smile and shutting the door behind her. I sigh and look at the clock. I have about an hour before I need to go to class. Just the right amount of time to get ready and do some research on the missing painting.

My hour is up as I walk into the lecture hall. This one is smaller than the first one I had yesterday but not smaller than my psychology 101 classroom. I find a seat and get ready for class to start. I'm so used to hearing a bell I'm surprised when the teacher starts talking and people are still coming in late. I get my laptop out and continue my research on the missing painting. Nobody seems to know who took it. So why did Spider-Man know to go after Felicia? I get a text on my phone from Betty. She checks in every now and then to see how I am, but it's mostly to tell me about some big news she has. I look and read the message.

I got a big promotion today and run the main advice column in the daily bugle isn't that great! My journalism major is already coming in handy!

She didn't even ask how I am this time. I sigh lightly and reply "great job". It isn't much but it's something. I try to look into who Black Cat is but nothing but actual black cats pop up and some graffiti from around the city of a cartoon looking woman with a black mask around her eyes. Guess she has some followers, but it isn't enough to go off of. I sit up as I see people gathering there stuff. I look at the clock and see the 50 minute class is over. What a waste of time, I didn't even learn anything. I close my laptop and head back to my apartment. I have another hour to kill before my next class. Maybe Felicia will be around and I can invite myself out with her tonight.
