I drop Peter's hand when we reach the front of the frat house. "Why are we back up front?" He asks.

"You need the full effect," I say simply. I open the frat door. "Basically you'll be hit by the smell of booze and sex, you get used to it," I shout over the best of the music. "The music normally sucks unless you request something. We need drinks before we do that though," I explain. I notice Peter is about to be caught up in a crowd on the dance floor as I walk and I grab his hand again. "Don't get lost. Always have an idea of where you and your friends are." I check the dance floor and see Felicia is still there. We make eye contact and she winks at me. "Felicia normally gets us drinks," I say handing Peter a red cup of jungle juice. "Then we take a lap around. Always understand stairs, and bedrooms are off limits unless otherwise stated. The bathroom is only for major emergencies and you go with a group," I explain. "You might be okay though since you're a man," I add.

"How do you remember all this when you're drunk?" He asks. I shake my head.

"Remember I don't get drunk and I keep Felicia in check. We have that understanding," I explain. He nods sipping his drink. "I like to find a seat and claim it. If some guys come up to me to dance I either send them to Felicia or say I'll play beer pong with them and if they win I'll dance. My favorite is when they lose and I get money and a free drink."

"What's beer pong?" He asks. I widen my eyes. "I spend a lot of time not being a normal person and this is the first time I've really ignored what I normally do," he says.

"It's a game. Maybe we'll play later," I say. He nods. I find us a seat and we sit for a minute.

"What happens now?" He asks.

"You get a hold of your hearing so you don't have a fit at the party," I say rubbing my head a bit. "Then you make sure to have eyes on Felicia," we both look over and see Felicia dancing with a group of people. "Then you scope out any hot guys," I say lightly scanning the dance floor m I obviously wasn't going to find one that wasn't Peter so I look back at him. "If you don't find one, or in your case a hot girl, then you sit for a minute until you want to go dance."

"What if you were to find someone hot? What happens then?" Peter asks looking at me and taking a drink casually.

"Someone caught your eye?" I ask him.

"Just, enlighten me," he says with a smirk. I smile a bit.

"Well, you'd go up to her and start talking. I normally just introduce myself since I'm a female and any guy is gonna say yes, most of the time," I say. "I ask them to dance with me and that's when I request a song," I add.

"What song do you request?" Peter asks.

"Normally something fun and upbeat. Less commitment and more fun that way. That way he knows you aren't looking for anything serious," I explain. "My go to is Going Down for Real or Only Girl in the World," I say.

"Very 2010s of you," he says. I shrug.

"Just an excuse to grind on the dude. Maybe get a drink with him."

"What happens next?" Peter asks.

"That's normally it. You do that a few times then you're drunk and have to grab Felicia and leave," I state.

"What if a guy wants to stick around? Like have more than just a grind session with you?" I shrug.

"I don't know. Doesn't normally happen like that." Peter nods understandingly.

"Seems very hit and run," he jokes. I chuckle a bit and nod.

"Yeah that's frat guys for you. Been like that since high school."

"What happens if you were to request a slow song?"

"Why would I do that?"

"Would you ever?" He asks. I shake my head.

"No, dancing is intimate enough. I don't need some guy looking at my face that long," I say. He lets out a sigh.

"What do you do when the party ends?"

"Go home."

"Alone?" He asks. I nod.

"Yeah I'm usually alone. Felicia will sometimes drag someone with us. My guess is it's gonna be that girl tonight," I say seeing she's back grinding on the girl from earlier.

"Didn't know Felicia was bi," he says.

"Bother you?" I ask. He shakes his head.

"Not in the slightest."

"Not jealous?" He shakes his head again.

"No reason for me to be," he says. I look down at his lips then back up at his eyes as he turns back to make eye contact. "This parties kind of lame," he says. I nod in agreement.

"Most of them are," I state. Felicia walks over with the girl and leans down.

"Hey we are gonna get out of here, are you gonna make it home okay?" She asks. She sounds drunk but her words say she's not so bad that she'd leave me behind. She glances at Peter then back at me.

"Are you going back to the apartment?" I ask her. She shakes her head.

"No Cami and I are going back to her place. I can text you if you want," she says. I shake my head.

"No I'm not your parent. I'll be in my room asleep. I'm about to head out anyway," I explain. She nods and kisses my forehead and runs off with the girl. I go to stand up and Peter follows me.

"I can walk you home if you want," Peter says. I sigh for a split second. I don't know how well I've done with a normal human night. It was supposed to be no Peter yet here he is.

"Look Peter this was a nice difference but I still-

"I'll leave as soon as you are home. I'd just feel better if I walked you home," he explains. I sigh again and nod.
