I toss my hair behind my shoulder as I walk into my first college lecture hall. I take a deep breath and look around. I see a couple people already in there seats and sit in an empty row near the back. Don't want to risk mingling. I don't really have many friends now a days since moving out of the financial district to the upper west side, but it was closer to school. I get out a notebook and pen and write Math 204 on the top of the page. I sigh and almost wish I didn't test out of math 101. I'd even settle for math 201. This is gonna be much harder than what I'm used to. I look up and see more students coming in. My head begins to hurt a little from all the noise. I quickly grab my own hand and run figure eights on it. It seems to have stopped the fits and calm me down as I've gotten used to my powers. My dull, unused powers. I can hear some random conversations but one perks me up. "Yes May I'm making it to class on time," I hear a random familiar voice say. I turn and sure enough I see a brown haired tallish guy sit down a few seats from me. "May I'm fine," he says a little quieter. He shifts a little. "I love you too, bye," he hangs up and sighs and gets his laptop out. I don't know weather to say hi or not. I clear my throat and move my hair to the side. What if he doesn't remember me? I mean it's only been three years, but still. I guess I recognize and remember him.  Of course how can I not? The last time I saw Peter Parker I told him not to kiss me and then I moved away. I glance over to see if he's noticed I'm here. He really hasn't changed that much. Maybe got more fit, if that's possible, but other than that not much.

I snap back to reality as I watch a girl with long black hair stand up and introduce herself. I've heard of this, it's the whole "introduce yourself and tell your major and a fun fact" that every college class does on the first day. This is my first experience but some of the students seem to be unimpressed and annoyed by the common trend among college classrooms.

I watch as the students stand up one by one and finally it's Peter's turn. "Um, I'm Peter Parker, I'm majoring in molecular engineering, and a fun fact is that I'm, uh," he try's to think. It's crazy that the most fun fact he has is the one thing he can't tell anyone. "Really nervous specking in front of people," he says quickly sitting down.

"Thank you Peter," the teacher says up front. I should've probably paid some attention to her name, but I was a little distracted. "Next?" She says looking at me. Everyone follows her example and decide to stare me down for my intro. All expect Peter who is looking down in what seems to be his own embarrassment.

"I'm Stella Carmichael," I say clearing my throat before I speak. I notice Peter turn to me, but not as quickly as I thought he would. "I'm majoring in Psychology, and a fun fact about me is that I'm from Queens," I say quickly sitting back down and looking over at Peter who is now staring at me like everyone else. He smiles a little and mouths Hi. I do the same and look forward since I was last to speak.

After class I slowly gather up my things in order for Peter to catch me if he wanted to talk. "Stella," he says lightly near me. I look up from my bag and tuck my hair behind my ears.

"Hi Parker," I say with a light smile. I stand and pick up my book but they slip out of my hands which are kind of shaking. Why am I shaking?

"Oh, uh, let me get that," he says and quickly picks it up before I can even think of grabbing it and hands it back to me. "So, um, h-how are you?" He stutters out. I start nodding.

"Um, yeah I'm good. Good, you?" He nods as well as we walk out to the main lobby of the building we are in.

"Yeah yeah yeah, I'm good," he says in a very Queens way. I smile a bit.

"And your aunt?" I ask politely.

"She's really good. She, uh, checks on me a lot." I nod not knowing what else to say.

"So uh, where you living these days?" I ask.

"Oh, uh, I got my own place near by. Not far from here actually."

"So you're in the city?" He nods looking down at his feet. I look around and shift a bit. "Well it was great to see you Peter," I say. He nods.

"Yeah yeah, you too," he says as I start walking away. I wave to him and let out a large breath. I've never felt so awkward in my life. "You look amazing," he says lightly to himself. I know it isn't too me since when I turn around he's too far away for me to hear it. It makes me wonder if he is seeing anyone.  I shake my head. I can't get caught up on that train ride, not again.
