I walk down the sidewalk and end up back on campus. It's pretty empty today since Saturday's everyone usually heads to the main parts of the city to be a tourist. As someone who's lived here most of her life it's not really my thing. I enter my apartment and see Felicia sleeping on the couch. To my surprise her bedroom door is open. I raise my eyebrows and look at her. She seems pretty out, but just to be sure. "Felicia?" I ask loudly but also in a casual tone. She doesn't respond. This could mean one of two things. 1. She's ignoring me on purpose to see if I'll snoop through her stuff, or 2. She's actually sleeping and will have no idea if I look through her room. I look at the door then back at her. I swiftly and lightly move towards her door. It won't hurt just to peek in. I start to look in and see it's actually super clean, surprising. It's so clean it seems like no one lives in it. I furrow my eyebrows and walk into it checking her to make sure she's still sleeping. I make sure to not go in too deep to where I can't see her on the couch at all. I look at her desk and see a white notebook on it with a spiderweb doodled on it. That could just be a doodle, or it could mean it's about Spider-Man . I grab it quickly and quietly making sure to look at her. She's still sleeping. I open the notebook which is smaller than a normal school notebook. I see her name written in the cover and flip to a random page. It's another doodle of some crystals and written next to it is their meaning. I flip some more and see drawings of strawberries and there health benefits, doodles of garden gnomes, and some random notes about almond milk and tea. I blink unimpressed with my findings. This is just her healthy habits and astrology notes. Her little free time escape. Maybe I'm being crazy, maybe Black Cat Just looks like Felicia... like a lot and I've had it all wrong. But everything about it leads me to believe that it's her. I put the notebook back where it was and sigh kind of loudly. I get nervous and look up at the couch. She stretching and yawning herself awake. "Shit," I whisper. Trying to walk quickly to the living room. She opens her eyes right as I'm in her doorway. She furrows her brows.

"Hey did I leave my door open?" She asks. I nod looking at it. "Oh, I must have forgotten. Find anything interesting?" She almost laughing. I look at her confused.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Well I never let you in my room, you must have snuck some sort of peek," she says laughing a little more as she stands up pulling her long socks up.

"Umm," I sigh. "Yeah I snooped a little. I just looked at that notebook," I say feeling defeated. She lets out a little laugh sigh from her noise coming towards me and walking into her room picking up the book.

"This?" She questions. I nod. "I imagine it was probably boring huh?" She asks. I shrug. "I'm sure you don't wanna hear about the health benefits of keeping rose quartz close to you," she laughs. I laugh a little with her.

"No can't say it's very important to me," I say. Realizing I'm not in trouble as I lean on her doorframe. She closes the book and puts it back on the desk.

"Look I'm not mad. If you need anything from in here just ask. Also you won't find anything juicy. I'm pretty boring if you really think about it," she explains. I roll my eyes. She opens her mouth offended. "I am!" She says defensively.

"Felicia you aren't home half the night and you have a new guy every other week. There's no way you think you are boring," I say crossing my arms.

"Well, I'm kind of over having all these guys," she says. I give her a questioning look as she sits on her bed grabbing a near by stuffed animal of a, you guessed it, a black cat. She pats the bed in front of her and I sit on it with her. "Look I've been going out a lot and I always see this guy at this club," she starts to explain.

"What club?" I interrupt. She seems taken a back by my question. Like I would just listen to her, but I genuinely want to know what she'd say.

"I'm not sure of the name. It's this weird masquerade club so I've never seen this guys face," I keep myself from laughing at this response. "But I've talked to him a lot recently, cause he's always there. I'm actually not supposed to like him," she pauses thinking I'll question this, but I just wanna hear this story. "But he just seems super cute, and like a sweet guy. Honestly I'm worried I might hurt him if he knew who I was," Felicia sighs hugging the cat a little closer to her. I look down and sigh.

"You know you aren't a bad person right?" I tell her as if it's a question but it's more rhetorical. "So you've slept with a couple of guys and stolen from a liquor store? Who hasn't done that in New York?" She smiles a little.

"You haven't done that," she says slightly.

"I was on look out," I say. She laughs a little.

"Oh please Stella, the moment someone said Police you were off running away," she explains with a laugh. I chuckle a little. Those really were crazy times. Back when I first moved here I was always hesitant about how Felicia could be a bad influence, but I was always sneaking out and trying to get in trouble to maybe see Spider-Man again. Also didn't help that my dad was always working and never home to keep me in line. I didn't have anyone really telling me it was wrong, besides myself.

"I didn't want to get picked up and have my dad know what I was out doing," I say after we are done laughing. She smiles a bit.

"I was always there to protect you," she says. "I'm still gonna be there for you," she adds. I smile and look down.

"Sorry I went through your room,"I finally say. She waves her hand down.

"Don't worry about it. You are welcome in here anytime. I'm gonna be here more for you. I promise," she hold up her pinky and I wrap mine around and we each kiss our own knuckles. We smile and hug each other. "Let's hang out tonight," she says as we pull away. "Maybe our rebel nature will come out and play if we go out for once," she adds. I laugh a bit and nod.

"Yeah that sounds fun," I say. She nods and sighs. "You look tired, maybe you should nap some more before we hit the city tonight," I say getting up. She nods and lays down holding the cat close to her.

"Let's leave around 8? Maybe pregame a little?" She suggest before I shut the door. I nod and walk out into our living room. I look around and head to my own room to maybe get some sleep on something that isn't the hardwood floor.
