A/N: This song always get me when I hear Nick singing it and I have the DVD and just love it more... put please listen to the song while you get to the part so you can hear Nick and Alex singing (which I know the truth)... but Nick notices something...

Chapter 3
Before the end of the concert, Joe and Kevin were talking to the fans while Alex and Nick were getting ready for the song that was very touchy for them.
“Now, Nick pulled some strings and got permission that he could sing this song on stage, but he didn’t want to sing it alone. So our very own sister is going to be singing with him,” Joe told them.
“Since not everyone got to go to London to see our own Nick play in Les Miserables,” Kevin told the fans, which they scream and cheering, “he and Alex are going to sing one of the songs. Now, just so you know, Nick didn’t know that Alex knew the words from just two nights. Until he and Alex sang it alone one night, and it was without music. So, here is Nick and Alex singing, ‘A Little Fall of Rain’.”
The fans went nuts as Nick was out on the catwalk as Alex walks on stage toward him with their microphone headsets on, and they started singing even the part before the song started.
Nick: (MARIUS) Good god, what are you doing? Eponine have no fear. Have you seen my beloved… why have you come back here?
Alex: (EPONINE) Took the letter like you said, I met her father at the door… he said he would give it… I don’t think I can stand anymore.
MARIUS: Eponine, what’s wrong, there’s something wet upon your hair. Eponine, you’re hurt, you need some help, oh gosh it’s everywhere.
EPONINE: Don't you fret, M'sieur Marius… (Alex looks up at Nick and touches his cheek) I don't feel any pain… A little fall of rain… Can hardly hurt me now… You're here, that's all I need to know… And you will keep me safe… And you will keep me close… And rain will make the flowers grow.
MARIUS: (he grabs her hand on his cheek and holds them) But you will live, 'Ponine - dear God above,… If I could close your wounds with words of love.
EPONINE: (Nick wraps his arms around her to hold her close) Just hold me now, and let it be… Shelter me, comfort me…
MARIUS: (he makes her look at him) You would live a hundred years… If I could show you how… I won't desert you now...
EPONINE: The rain can't hurt me now… This rain will wash away what's past… And you will keep me safe… And you will keep me close… I'll sleep in your embrace at last… The rain that brings you here… Is Heaven-blessed! (he runs his fingers through her hair) The skies begin to clear… And I'm at rest… A breath away from where you are… I've come home from so far… (she gasps touching her chest as he hugs her more)
(Together they sing…)
