Chapter 16

"Who's this?" Happy asked when we saw Chloe.

"Hello to you too. Happy this is Chloe. Chloe this is Happy." I said pointing to them as I said their name.

"So, you're the infamous Happy." Chloe said. "I've heard lots about you." She said winking.

I look at her to Happy confused.

"Let's get moving, shall we." Chloe suggested. "While you too talk, I will walk around and hopefully not get lost."

"Which you will." I said.

"Honestly, does it even matter if I do. I'm at the Avengers Compound."

"I don't know. She laughs Everytime I mention your name." I whispered.

Chloe's POV

I walked around and looked at everything with wonder and fascination.

I was too busy dreaming that I didn't notice the person walking in front of me.

"Ow!" I shouted as I fell to the floor.

"Oh my gosh." A voice said. "Here." He held out his hand and I took with my hand on my forehead.

His arm was cold. And it didn't feel like flesh. It felt... Like metal.

"You alright, there?" He asked.

"Yeah. I'm alright. Thanks." I said finally taking my hand off my forehead.

I look up to the person and my eyes widened.

"Oh my god. You're the winter soldier."

"That would be correct." He said.

"I've heard so much about you in Russia. You're like a big hit there."

"You don't sound Russian." He said.

"I uhh, I'm from here, originally. But some pretty crazy stuff happened so I went to Russia but now I'm back!" I said.

"Well call me Bucky. Bucky Barnes." He said while holding out his hand.

"Charles." I said while taking his hand, "Chloe Charles."

"Well Chloe Charles, would like to make some friends?" He asked,

"I'm not pretty good in that area." I said cringing at my previous encounters with new people.

"Sure you are. You already have me. I'll take your bag for you."

I handed it to him and we started walking.

"Are they hard to impress?" I asked.

Bucky said, "Not really. But tell them your story. Why were you in Russia? What happened there?"

"Well basically, in middle school my parents-"

"I wasn't asking." He interrupted, "Save for them." He held open a door for my while pointing to people.

I watched with excitement as everyone used their powers and technology to train.

"Sam, Wanda. Get over here." He called to them,

A woman with red wisps flowing from her hands flew down in front of me and a man with wings attached to him did the same.

"I accidentally bumped into this girl." Bucky started, "I don't know how she got here or what she's doing here."

"Oh. Oh!" I shouted, "I'm friend of Peter's. Peter Parker."

Everyone stared at me not knowing what to say.

"Spider-kid." I explained,

Oh's echoed in the room. I nodded my head slowly and silence filled the room.

"I'm here because Peter had to talk to Happy about something. But I'm Chloe."

"Wanda."

"Sam."

Peter's POV

"How did you guys re-build so fast?" I asked,

"Not all of it's done." Happy explained, "We just jumped on it quit so it wouldn't take up much time."

"Oh." I mumbled, "What do I do?"

"What do you mean?" Happy asked,

"With that whole Mysterio thing?"

"Well you have to shut it down. We can't have your identity you'll be targeted too much."

"I know. But," I paused, "Living up to Mr. Stark is really hard. It's a big responsibility and you know what happened the first time I tried."

"Well if it were Tony he would shut it down immediately. Hold a press conference. Or he would reveal himself."

With that people barged through the doors.

"Where's Chloe Charles?!" One of them said,

They had an accent. It seemed... Russian.
