Katie Meets Emmett

Katie woke up the next morning to get ready for school. She straightened her hair and finished her morning routine. Katie was excited to start school. New people, new school, new friends, and a possibility of a new romance. Well the last part Katie never experience. She was pulled out of her thoughts when she saw the school sign. She smiled as she parked beside a Jeep. She climbed out and felt eyes on her. She turned and smiled at everyone as she walked into the school in search of the office.

Katie walked in and smile. "Excuse me." She said getting the secretary turn around. "I'm Katie Masen and I'm here to get my schedule."

"Oh yes. Here you go dear." She said as she gave her the schedule. "What I need you to do is have your teachers sign this slip and return it to me at the end of the day."

"Okay." Katie tells her, but before she left she turned with a gentle smile. "Have a good day."

Katie was looking at her schedule as she walked out of the office just for her to bump into something or more like someone. She looked up to see a tall pale guy standing in front of her. She can tell he was built just by the way he stands. Emmett looked at the blonde beauty in front of him and smiled. "I am so sorry." He said.

She smiled at him. He may look intimidating, but he was for sure friendly. "No it's my fault. I was trying to memorize my schedule and wasn't paying attention." She said than looked into his eyes. "I'm Katie Masen."

"Emmett Cullen." He said. "How about I show you to class?" She nodded not wanting to leave his side. "What do you like to do for fun?" He asked.

"Playing video games, singing, chess, you name it I do it." Katie teased.

"Really?" He said sounding offended than smirked. "How about you and me play one video game and sees who's better?"

"Are you teasing me?" She asked with a smirk. He nodded. "Okay pretty boy. Game on."

As the two teased one another on their walk to class, Bella Swan stood at her locker glaring at the two. She couldn't believe that the new girl got attention from Emmett since she has been trying since last week.

"You may be strong, but I'm talented." Katie said. Emmett laugh at her as they made it to her class. "Welp p! This is my stop."

"I'll see your later beautiful." He said still teasing.

"See you later handsome." She teased before walking into an empty room. Bella smirked as she saw what class she went into.

"Hello." Bella said gaining the blonde's attention. "I'm here to warn you." Katie looked at the brunette girl like where is this going. "Stay the fuck away from Emmett Cullen."

Katie became angry at this stupid warning. "Excuse me!" She said as she stood up. "I literally just got her and I will not be talked down or threatened by anybody especially you!" Katie got up in the brunette's face still pissed. "I don't know you and you don't know me so you have no right to talk to me like some control freak and mind your own business." Before Katie went back to her seat she stopped. "FYI, Emmett doesn't belong to your obsessive ass." Once Katie made her self clear she went and sat down with a proud smile on her face.

Alice was laughing along with Jasper about what just happened. Edward looked at the two confused as they sat beside him in art. He read their minds and started laughing. "Wow. Emmett's mate sure doesn't take shit does she." Edward said as the three laugh.

"Trust me. Emmett and Rosalie will be happy about that like I am." Jasper said as Edward agreed. Bella has become obsessed over him and Emmett and Rosalie has had enough. She knows Edward only loves her and her only because their mates and their love is strong and Emmett didn't have a mate till now.
