Death Experience

Katie has never given much thought to how she will die. She had this feeling of something bad is going to happen. Katie got in her car and drove off. Her mind kept going back to Bella. How can someone be so obsessed over someone you can't have? She arrived at school with a lot on her mind till she saw Emmett and smiled. Emmett walked across the parking lot since Bella took Katie's spot. "Hey." He said.

She shut her door and smiled. "Hey. Is Bella bothering you guys again?" She asked.

"Yeah, even Alice is getting annoyed with her." Emmett said. Katie shook her head wondering what is going through that girl's mind. Katie shrugged and walked with Emmett to class with Bella glaring at them and the other Cullens.

Katie smiled as she walked along with Alice who wants to come over and help her redo her wardrobe. "I told my mother that I need to go shopping so I can get rid of the old clothes." Katie tells Alice.

"I'll help you out." She said.

"You don't have t...." Katie's went to say but Alice cut her off.

"None sense. Your my friend and plus I would like to see your house." Alice said.

"Okay." Katie tells her as Emmett walked up to his mate along with Jasper. They walked into the cafeteria. Bella smirked at what she had done and no one will ever know it's her. Alice noticed the look on Bella's face and tried to see what she had done and couldn't tell.

Later that day Emmett stood by his Jeep as he watched his mate look for her keys. "Hey Emmett." A voice said. Emmett growled knowing exactly who it was. Bella Swan.

"What do you want Bella?" He asked in a harsh tone.

"I was wondering if you want to hang out later." Bella said in a flirty way. She tried to touch him and he backed away.

"What are you doing?" He asked in disgust.

"Can't you tell that you belong to me and not Katie." Bella said getting angry at the rejection. Emmett scoffed at her.

"Seriously?" He asked as Bella smiled and nodded. "No thank you." He said as he tried to move away. "Bella, you need to move. Now!" She didn't move to he gave her a real answer. "Bella, I like Katie more than you. She's sweet, loving, and kind. Plus she's beautiful." Bella became enraged knowing what he was saying. Katie Masen is his mate. His true mate. "Now back off!"

Bella started fuming an anger when the sounds of squealing tires were heard. She smirked when Edward looked at Bella who was laughing at what was about to occur. "What did you do?" Edward asked harshly. Rosalie turned to look at her mate who was ready to kill Bella.

"Did a little tinkering to Tyler's van so he could lose control." She said smugly.

"Why would you do that?" Rosalie asked as she held her mate back. Edward started growling at her as Emmett was ready to kill her along with Jasper and Alice.

"I want her dead." Bella admitted. "Ever since she came here, all of you hang around her like she's your world especially Emmett." Emmett glared at the girl to see what she was talking about. "All of you were supposed to be mine! Not her! Mine!" Emmett looked at his mate when the van was getting closer and vamp speed to her. "NO! Your not supposed to save her." Rosalie pushed Bella back against her truck.

"NO! You don't have claim on us. I know you know what we are and if I see you trying to come between me and Edward. I. Will. Kill. You." Rosalie warmed as they heard a crash.

"Yes!" Bella cheered as the other Cullens looked at her enrage till Emmett climbed out between the cars with Katie in his arms crying from the death experience that almost happened. "No! No! No! She's supposed to die, not to be save."

"Stay right here." Emmett told Katie as she nodded. Emmett walked over to Bella and tried to reach for her, but was held back from the others. "If I ever see you try to kill her I will kill you." He growled out before climbing into the Jeep and driving her to the hospital as Jasper and Alice went to her house to let her mother know. Edward and Rosalie went to the hospital to keep Emmett calm.

Carlisle heard from Edward that Emmett had his mate in the hospital and was staying by her side. When Carlisle walked in he saw someone he thought died in 1918. "Elizabeth?" He said. Katie and Emmett looked up at him in confusion till Katie smiled.

"Elizabeth Masen is my great great great aunt who died from the Spanish influenza in 1918 along with her husband and son, but Elizabeth is my middle name." Katie said smiling. Emmett was shocked at what she just said. She's related to Edward.

"My apologies." Carlisle said as he check Katie. "You have a small knot and nothing to serious. Your able to go home when your mother arrives." Katie nodded as she laid back and went to sleep.

"Edward!" Emmett and Carlisle called out. Edward and Rosalie broke apart from their make out session to see what they wanted.

"Your not the last person in your family alive." Carlisle said.

"What are you talking about?" Edward asked as Rosalie laid her head on his back wondering the same thing.

"Katie is your cousin. Her great great great grandmother is Mary Masen and Mary's husband was John, your father's brother." Carlisle informed him.

"Wait! So your telling me that I have family and that lunatic Bella Swan tried to kill her?" Edward said as Emmett nodded. "Is she going to be okay."

"Yes." Carlisle said. "You three go home and hunt, I'll tell Katie that Emmett had do go home for dinner." They nodded and left. Carlisle looked back in the room to see Katie with both parents. One thing going through Carlisle's mind is when should they tell Katie.
